Reese Witherspoon is embracing her new reality in the midst of her divorce from Jim Toth. The 47-year-old Morning Show star recently opened up in a profile with Harper's Bazaar, expressing her desire to authentically share her experiences and emotions without the influence of others. Witherspoon and Toth, both aged 52, made a public announcement on social media in March, revealing their decision to end their marriage after nearly 12 years.

The couple, who are now estranged, emphasized that their top concern is co-parenting their 10-year-old son, Tennessee, despite their separation. Witherspoon, who also has a daughter named Ava, 23, and a son named Deacon, 19, with her former husband Ryan Phillippe, provided further details on how she has been handling the aftermath of her breakup in an interview with Harper's Bazaar.

As news of their separation emerged, a source informed us that the process of divorce between the pair had been friendly.

It was emphasized that Witherspoon is making an effort to prevent the split from bringing out any negative characteristics in herself or Toth. Speaking about her divorce from Toth, Witherspoon compared the experience to her previous split from Phillippe, 48. She confessed, "It's interesting what happened to me. When I was divorced before, the tabloid media got to dictate how I felt or how I processed it, and it felt very uncontrollable."

Witherspoon and Phillippe, who sparked a romance while co-starring in Cruel Intentions, got married in 1999. After seven years of marriage, they ended their relationship in 2006. Since then, they have learned to co-parent Ava and Deacon amicably.
