The couple first crossed paths at the 2014 White House Correspondents Dinner, where Sofia Vergara was accompanying her then-fiancé Nick Loeb. Shortly after the event, Vergara and Loeb went their separate ways.
Speaking on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show in April 2020, Joe Manganiello recalled their initial meeting, describing how Vergara captivated him as she gracefully walked in front of them for about 100 yards.
