Delay of Covert Exfil Feature
Raven Software has announced that the Covert Exfil feature in Call of Duty: Warzone has been delayed until further notice. This feature was intended to provide a new way for players to win a match and was initially scheduled to be released on January 17 as part of the Season 1 Reloaded update. However, following feedback from fans, Raven Software has decided to postpone the release of the Covert Exfil feature.
The Covert Exfil feature, which would have allowed up to five teams to purchase a Covert Exfil and leave the match early, has sparked disapproval among Warzone fans who believe it undermines the game's competitive nature. This feedback has prompted Raven Software to reevaluate its plans for the feature's implementation and future.

Restructuring Plans for Covert Exfil and Weapon Case Features
In response to fan feedback, Raven Software has announced that the Covert Exfil feature will not launch with the Season 1 Reloaded update. Instead, the feature will be integrated into a future mode that will also incorporate the Weapon Case feature. The Weapon Case, which was originally intended to launch with Season 1 Reloaded, will also be held back until the new mode is introduced.
Once implemented, the Weapon Case feature will spawn at the beginning of every match, and its location will be highlighted on players' maps. Players who pick up the Weapon Case will be marked for all enemies, but successfully exiling with the Weapon Case will result in exclusive rewards for the player and their squad members. Raven Software has not specified the release date for the future mode that will introduce these features.
Additional Updates for Warzone and Modern Warfare 3
While the delay of the Covert Exfil feature and Weapon Case feature reduces the amount of new content coming to Warzone on January 17, the battle royale will still receive the new Champion's Quest and a night vision public event for the Gulag. Additionally, Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer mode will see the introduction of a ranked mode, new maps, new playlists, and more.
In addition to these updates, Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer will feature a new limited-time mode based on The Boys, accompanied by a Boys-themed event. Furthermore, Season 1 Reloaded will introduce a new Warlord to Modern Warfare 3's Zombies mode, providing players with a variety of new content and experiences to look forward to.
