Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards are facing challenges in their marriage, which Mauricio attributes to their busy schedules and their children growing up and becoming more independent. In a recent episode of Buying Beverly Hills, Mauricio, 53, shared that they are both juggling multiple responsibilities and are now adjusting to a new phase in their relationship.

Mauricio found it challenging to establish a new relationship without the responsibilities of being parents. He and his partner share four children: Farrah, 35, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 16, who all appeared on the Netflix reality series.

"When Kyle and I first got together, she already had a child, Farrah," Mauricio shared. Farrah is Kyle's eldest daughter from her previous marriage with Guraish Aldjufrie. "We have been parenting together since I was 25 years old. Now, 27 years later, we are faced with the task of nurturing our relationship without the presence of children. It's definitely a challenging adjustment."

Mauricio mentioned that he and Kyle, 55, have grown and changed over time.

He shared, "The ultimate goal of being married to someone forever and always - I believe we both still hold on to that. But we want to maintain that with passion and love. We also want to ensure that we don't compromise just to stay together for the sake of it. Ultimately, that's what we're both trying to work out."

Mauricio mentioned that family dynamics were causing distance between him and his wife, reminding Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans of a memorable moment from season 1. In that episode, psychic Allison, known for inspiring the TV series Medium, appeared on the show in 2010 during the "Dinner Party From Hell" hosted by Camille Grammer. During a reading for Kyle, Allison hinted at issues in her marriage to Mauricio, suggesting that their relationship might not last.
