Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton partied the night away while celebrating King Charles III‘s birthday.

The couple departed from the festivities at Clarence House on Tuesday, November 14 with a cheerful demeanor. The 41-year-old Princess of Wales looked stunning in a sparkling emerald gown, while William, also 41, sported a black blazer paired with a white shirt.

Charles' 75th birthday celebration was nothing short of regal, graced by the presence of Queen Camilla, Princess Beatrice, Lady Sarah Chatto (the daughter of Princess Margaret), and Zara Tindall (the daughter of Princess Anne), accompanied by her husband Mike Tindall.

In celebration of his special day, William and Kate expressed their well wishes to Charles through social media. Their Instagram account featured a heartfelt message, "Wishing His Majesty The King a very happy 75th birthday!" Accompanying the message were photos of Charles and William.

Prince Harry, the younger son of Charles and brother of William, was notably absent from the uploaded photographs. The Duke of Sussex, aged 39, and his wife, Meghan Markle, did not attend the U.K. celebration, as they claimed they did not receive an invitation. On November 6, Harry's spokesperson informed us that there had been no communication regarding an invitation to His Majesty's upcoming birthday, nearly a week before the event.

According to a source, Harry has declined the invitation to the royal event. Ever since Harry and Meghan announced in 2020 that they were stepping down from their royal duties, their relationship with his father and brother has been strained. After officially leaving their roles one year later, Harry and Meghan, 42, extensively discussed their tumultuous bond with his side of the family.

Harry's memoir, Spare, created quite a stir with his candid remarks about the royals. He shares two children, Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, with the Duchess of Sussex.

In January, during an interview on 60 Minutes, Harry revealed that he and Meghan are willing to apologize openly for any mistakes they may have made. However, they are unable to do so as nobody has provided them with specific details or explanations. Harry also emphasized the importance of having a private and constructive conversation, free from leaks, regarding the allegations that the royal family betrayed the Sussexes to the British press. He shared that the situation escalated to the point where he and his wife felt compelled to leave their home country due to the constant falsehoods and negative briefing against Meghan. Another source confirmed that Charles is maintaining his distance from Harry and Meghan.

"There is undoubtedly a desire on his part to keep his distance from Harry and Meghan until he witnesses some constructive developments coming from them," revealed the insider in June, just a month after Harry's participation in Charles' coronation event. "Ever since the release of Spare, Charles' trust has been undermined."
