Once again, Princess Kate Middleton has shown her flawless curtsy technique. The 41-year-old Princess of Wales executed a quick and graceful curtsy to her father-in-law, King Charles III, while he greeted South Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol at the Horse Guards Parade in central London on Tuesday, November 21. With a smile on her face, Kate maintained perfect upper body posture as she bent her knees.
The state visit began with a royal welcome, focused on enhancing trade and defense connections between the United Kingdom and South Korea. Queen Camilla and Prince William, who is in line for the throne, were also present. For the event, Kate chose to wear a scarlet Catherine Walker coat dress, complemented by a matching wide-brimmed hat and Gianvito Rossi pumps. She accessorized with sapphire drop earrings that once belonged to Princess Diana and styled her hair in a chic low chignon.
Kate and William, aged 41, were introduced to Yoon and his wife, Kim Keon-hee, at their London hotel prior to participating in the official welcoming ceremony, featuring two ceremonial gun salutes. Yoon and Kim then accompanied Charles, Camilla, aged 76, Kate, and William in a carriage procession to Buckingham Palace.
Kate Middleton, alongside Prince William, displayed her graceful curtsying skills on multiple occasions throughout the years. Her expertise was notably showcased during the annual Order of the Garter procession at Windsor Castle in June, where she gracefully balanced in high heels while elegantly paying her respects to the king and queen by tucking one leg behind the other.
Earlier this month, the graceful princess had an opportunity to relax and have fun with William. The couple, who have three children together, attended Charles’ 75th birthday party at Clarence House. They were spotted leaving the event together, with William driving. He was dressed in a white shirt and black blazer, while Kate wore a stunning emerald sequined gown.
William’s brother, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle, were noticeably absent from the gathering. The pair previously claimed they hadn’t received an invite.
Harry's spokesperson stated that there has been no communication about an invitation to King Charles III's upcoming birthday, despite reports in the UK media. This statement was made nearly one week before the scheduled party.
Harry, aged 39, has been experiencing tension with his father and brother since he and Meghan, aged 42, revealed their choice to step back from their royal responsibilities in 2020. In a January segment on 60 Minutes, Harry expressed his willingness to mend the relationship under specific conditions.

"We remain committed to offering a sincere apology for any mistakes we may have made. However, despite our requests for clarity, we have not received any specific information. It is essential to have a productive and confidential discussion rather than one that is leaked to the media. The constant negative briefings filled with lies about my wife led to us feeling the need to leave the country."
Harry and Meghan now live in California with their children: son Archie, 4, and daughter Lilibet, 2.
