Taking place in Southside Jamaica Queens, the third installment of the prequel follows the aftermath of a coordinated attack by the Mob on Raquel, Marvin, and Lou-Lou. As Raquel looks to start anew, Kanan remains skeptical, as depicted in a tense conversation showcased in the trailer.

Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 3 will bring back Stefano (Tony Danza), the Italian mob boss, and will introduce new adversaries portrayed by Wendell Pierce from The Wire and Suits. The returning cast members comprise Omar Epps as Detective Malcolm Howard, Hailey Kilgore as Jukebox, Joey Bada$$ as Unique, Shanley Caswell as Detective Burke, and Antonio Ortiz as Famous.
