To celebrate the launch of the new Pokemon GO Plus Plus device, Niantic is hosting a Pokemon GO event called Catching Some Z's. From July 15th at 10 am to July 16th at 8 pm local time, trainers worldwide can discover Komala, a sleeping koala-like Pokemon, in the wild for the first time. Komala, also known as the Drowsing Pokemon in the Pokedex, hails from the seventh generation of mainline Pokemon games, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.
During the Catching Some Z's Pokemon GO event, trainers who own the Pokemon GO Plus Plus peripheral, priced at $54.99, can participate in Special Research tasks for an opportunity to encounter a unique Snorlax wearing a Nightcap. It's important to note that not all players will have access to these special tasks unless they have the Pokemon GO Plus Plus peripheral.
Catching Some Z's Special Research Tasks and Rewards - Pokemon GO
To begin the Catching Some Z's Special Research in Pokemon GO, trainers must connect the Pokemon GO Plus Plus device to the mobile game. By connecting this accessory, players can conveniently spin PokeStops and capture wild spawns automatically without needing to constantly check their smartphone. Additionally, it's important to mention that the Catching Some Z's research will still be accessible for claiming even after the event concludes.
