The Pokemon GO Squirtle Community Day Classic event begins on Sunday, July 9th at 2:00 PM and ends the same day at 5:00 PM local time. During the event or for up to two hours afterward, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, players have the opportunity to evolve Wartortle and obtain a Blastoise with the powerful Charged Attack, Hydro Cannon. It is important to mention that Shiny Squirtle is already available, so there is an increased likelihood of encountering it during this event.
Pokemon GO: Squirtle Community Day Special Research tasks and rewards
The Special Research story exclusively for Squirtle Community Day is now available in the Pokemon GO store for $1.00 or the equivalent in your local currency. Please note that the tickets are nonrefundable, based on applicable law and the exceptions mentioned in the Terms of Service.
The Special Research story consists of Four Steps, each containing different time-consuming tasks, excluding the Final Step. Players have a 5-hour window to complete all of these tasks and move on to the Last Step, where they will have the chance to encounter a Blastoise. To fully complete the Special Research story and receive all rewards, Pokemon GO players must successfully complete all of the steps.

This event offers increased spawns of wild Pokémon, a reduced hatch distance of 1/4, a 3-hour duration for Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense), and a 3-hour duration for Pokémon GO Lures (excluding Golden Lure Modules).
