Froakie Community Day Event
Froakie's community day is happening this weekend, on August 13, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. Additionally, there will be four-star raids from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm local time, giving players something to participate in during the later hours of the day.
During the event, trainers will have the opportunity to obtain a special attack for Froakie when it evolves into Greninja from Frogadier. This can be done during the event itself or within five hours after, while the raids are still ongoing. The special move that Greninja will learn is called Charged Attack Hydro Cannon. Trainer Battles: 80 power
Gyms and raids: 90 power
When the event starts, as well as afterward, Trainer's Greninja will also be able to learn the Fast Attack Water Shuriken; the stats are also below as well.

Frogadier will feature in the four-star raid battles. Additionally, upon completion of a raid, a Froakie will temporarily appear near the corresponding Gym for a duration of 30 minutes. During this time, there is a chance for the Froakie to be a Shiny variant. However, it is important to note that the probability of encountering a Shiny Froakie remains the same as any other Froakie during the community event's three-hour duration. Furthermore, these raids can only be joined locally. It would be wise for trainers to familiarize themselves with the optimal move set for Froakie prior to the event to ensure maximum preparedness for the raids.
During the community day event, players will have the opportunity to obtain various items, including the option to purchase a ticket for the themed event. By participating in the Special Research story before it concludes, players can earn bonus rewards. Additionally, trainers will have the option to purchase different stickers to send to their friends, even after the event has ended. Below are the event bonuses available to players during their participation:
- 3x Stardust for catching Pokemon.
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
2× Candy for catching Pokemon
Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokemon
One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three for the day.
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Trades will require 50% less Stardust
