Pokemon GO Community Day is a monthly event that focuses on a specific Pokemon. During this event, the featured Pokemon will spawn more frequently and will have a special move when evolved. In addition to this, the Community Day includes other elements such as Research Tasks, bonuses, and rewards.

The Poliwag Community Day in Pokemon GO will take place on Saturday, July 30, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Local Time. During this time, trainers have the opportunity to evolve their Poliwhirl into Politoed with the Charge Attack Ice Beam if they use a King's Rock. They can also evolve Poliwhirl into Poliwrath to obtain a Poliwrath with the Fast Attack Counter. It is worth mentioning that shiny versions of the entire Poliwag Family are already available for trainers to collect.

Pokemon GO Slippery Swirls: Special Research Tasks and Rewards

Slippery Swirls, an exclusive Community Day Research Story, can be purchased for US$1.00 or the equivalent in local currency. Players have the option to buy and gift tickets to their Pokemon GO Friends who have a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher. To gift a ticket, simply go to the shop, click on the Special Research ticket, and select the Gift button.

Please note that tickets are non-refundable, unless allowed by applicable law or the exceptions outlined in the Terms of Service. This Special Research does not include an in-game medal. Additionally, gifting is not possible if the recipient has already purchased a Special Research ticket or has been gifted one before.

This Community Day offers participants the chance to embark on an Event-exclusive Timed Research quest, where they can reap various rewards. As for the upcoming Poliwag Community Day, players have the opportunity to earn multiple King's Rock by successfully catching Poliwag.

Pokemon GO Poliwag Community Day: Poliwhirl 4-Star Raid

Following the conclusion of the Community Day, players are provided with an additional three-hour timeframe to take part in the exhilarating Poliwhirl 4-Star Raid Battles. Triumphant participants will have the opportunity to encounter Poliwag in the vicinity of the Raid area for a duration of thirty minutes. It is essential to possess Raid Passes or Premium Battle Passes in order to participate, as Pokemon GO Remote Raid Passes are not applicable. Upon successfully completing the Poliwhirl Raid Battle, players may come across Poliwag within a 300-meter radius surrounding the Gym area for a period of 30 minutes. Additionally, fortunate trainers also stand a chance of encountering a captivating Shiny Poliwag.

Pokemon GO Poliwag Community Day: All Bonuses

The Pokemon GO Community Day offers various bonuses, with most being available for just three hours during the event. However, this particular event's bonus will be active from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Local Time.

Apart from these bonuses, one can also acquire event-themed stickers by spinning PokeStops, purchasing them from the Pokemon GO store, and opening gifts.
