Phaedra Parks Reveals Inside Details of Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo 'UGT' Drama

Former 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Phaedra Parks reveals her insider perspective on the 'Ultimate Girls Trip' drama involving Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo, insisting that no incidents occurred between them

Phaedra Parks, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, spoke exclusively at BravoCon on Saturday, November 4 about the controversial fifth season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. When asked about the supposed incident between Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo, Parks stated that nothing happened and she witnessed it all firsthand. Being sober throughout the filming, Parks expressed her confusion about the controversy surrounding the incident.

Brandi, 50, and Caroline, 62, reportedly departed the Morocco production prematurely in January, following an incident where it was alleged that Brandi had kissed Caroline without her consent. Following the incident, Bravo and Shed Media, the show's production company, confirmed that an investigation had taken place.

In a statement released in February, it was emphasized that the well-being and safety of both the cast and crew during filming are of utmost importance. The production team promptly initiated a thorough review of the situation and appropriate measures have been taken.

Brandi, who appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills intermittently from season 2 to 10, alleged in March that she and Caroline were heavily intoxicated during the incident.

"I have the freedom to speak about anything I choose," she tweeted at that time. "This occurred at the end of a grueling 18-hour work day at our belly dancing party, and I would like to see footage of it. I am extremely frustrated with this storyline. I was brought back for a second season of Girls Trip because they loved my performance in the first season. I was instructed to bring the same energy to the party, and that's exactly what I did, but I was unfairly punished for it. It feels like a deliberate setup. It's completely unjust, and Caroline was not affected."

Meanwhile, Caroline has not publicly addressed the specific details of the incident, but described it as "extremely traumatizing" during an April interview on the "Two Ts in a Pod" podcast with Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp.

Phaedra provides a drastically different account of the interaction compared to Caroline and Brandi's versions. According to her, it resembled a Harlequin romance, with love prevailing. Phaedra expresses her enthusiasm for everyone to witness it firsthand, as she believes it has been greatly exaggerated.

Phaedra does not believe Bravo will cancel the entire season, contrary to what some fans have speculated. She expressed hopes that the season will be released at the beginning of the year, as she mentioned to Us. Andy Cohen also conveyed a similar message during the “Ask Andy” panel at BravoCon on November 3rd.

Originally slated to be season 4, the Morocco season has been postponed by Bravo. Instead, the RHONY Legacy season, featuring former Real Housewives of New York City cast members Luann de Lesseps, Kristen Taekman, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Dorinda Medley, will be airing first. The premiere is scheduled for Thursday, December 14 on Peacock.
