Patch Notes Revealing Weapon Nerfs and Spawn Modifications in CoD: Warzone and MW3

CoD: Warzone and MW3 Patch Notes Introduce Essential Changes: Nerfing the MTZ Interceptor, improving gameplay, fixing bugs, enhancing UIX, progressing stability, and offering exciting new weapons, equipment, maps, modes, and customization options across Warzone, Multiplayer, and Zombies

The latest update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, released on January 11, includes a much-needed nerf for the MTZ Interceptor marksman rifle. In addition to addressing the issue of overpowered weapons, the update also makes adjustments to spawns on various multiplayer maps and fixes bugged camo challenges. The MTZ Interceptor has been a dominant force in Warzone since Season 1, but the new update brings some much-needed balance to the game. The weapon's maximum damage has been reduced from 95 to 85, and its minimum damage has been lowered from 84 to 78.

The Snake Shot ammunition in Warzone has been adjusted to drastically reduce the damage per pellet at maximum range from 34 to 12. More weapon balancing changes are expected to arrive with the Season 1 Reloaded update on January 17 for battle royale. Additionally, the update for Modern Warfare 3 includes spawn adjustments for several multiplayer maps, such as Afghan, Invasion, Terminal, and the new Meat map from Season 1.

Several bugs, including UI issues and instances that led to players being unexpectedly kicked to the multiplayer menu, have been addressed. Additionally, the bugged Modern Warfare 2 camos that were hindering player progression with the MW2 completionist camo challenges have been fixed. The complete patch notes, as provided by Activision, are listed below.

Editor's P/S

As a dedicated fan of Call of Duty, I am thrilled with the latest patch notes for Warzone and MW3. The developers have listened to the community's feedback and taken significant steps to address some of the most pressing issues. The nerf to the MTZ Interceptor was long overdue, as it had become the dominant weapon in Warzone. The adjustments to the Snake Shot ammunition will also help to level the playing field and make for more balanced gameplay.

I am also excited about the upcoming Season 1 Reloaded update, which promises to bring even more exciting content to the game. The crossover event with The Boys is a particularly intriguing prospect, and I can't wait to see how it will be integrated into the game. The new additions to Warzone, such as the covert exfil, should also add some fresh variety to the battle royale experience. Overall, I am very optimistic about the future of Call of Duty and look forward to seeing what the developers have in store for us in the coming months.
