One Day launches on Netflix on February 8, 2024.
The story will unfold in 14 episodes, all released on the same day. Nicole Taylor, Anna Jordan, Vinay Patel, and Bijan Sheibani are the writers, and Molly Manners, Kate Hewitt, John Hardwick, and Luke Snellin are the directors. Nige Watson serves as producer, with David Nicholls as executive producer.
One Day cast: Who’s in it?
Ambika Mod (known for her roles in I Hate Suzie and This is Going to Hurt) and Leo Woodall (who appeared in The White Lotus and Citadel) star as the lead couple in One Day. Joining them are a talented ensemble cast who bring to life the other characters in the story.

The synopsis for the new series is as follows: "One Day follows the journey of Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew who, on the night of their graduation on July 15, 1988, have their first conversation. The next day, they go their separate ways but where will they be on this ordinary day the following year, and the year after that, and every year after that?
"Every episode follows Dex and Em as they age year by year, meeting on the same date and navigating their evolving relationship, experiencing both joy and heartbreak as they move closer and drift apart."

As an enthusiastic fan, I am eagerly anticipating the release of the Netflix adaptation of David Nicholls' beloved novel, One Day.
