In a recent episode of the Hulu reality series featuring Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter, North, the 10-year-old left an impression on viewers as she casually consumed an onion. This particular moment has continued to resonate with us since its airing on November 2nd. The episode showcased a heartwarming mother-daughter bonding experience as Kim, 42, and North spent time together in the kitchen.
"North possesses a truly special, intelligent, and creative nature, and she marches to the beat of her own drum. Her personality is incredibly silly," Kim shared as she expertly prepared sushi alongside her firstborn. "It's fascinating how her temperament as a child remains unchanged even now. Impressed by North's cucumber-cutting skills, the KKW Beauty founder playfully remarked, "Oh, my goodness. You should definitely FaceTime Auntie Kendall." (Kendall, 27, made headlines when she inaccurately cut a cucumber on camera during the first season of The Kardashians.)
As they waited for their food, North decided to have a quick snack by biting into an onion. This surprised Us, but Kim didn't seem bothered by it.
"Do you really eat it like that? Just biting into an onion like it's an apple. That's how she eats vegetables," Kim asked her daughter. "The strong aroma of this onion is making my eyes water."

Expressing herself in a confessional, Kim expressed her gratitude for the profound influence North has had on her life. "According to Kourtney [Kardashian], North serves as my guiding lesson in this world," she remarked. "This implies that I am meant to acquire even greater levels of patience. She teaches me the virtue of patience and imparts invaluable lessons about life."
Kim shares three children, North, 13, Saint, 11, and Chicago, 9, with her ex-husband Kanye. Following their divorce in November 2022, Kim discussed her parenting strategy and revealed that each of her children is guaranteed at least one annual trip with her. She believes this not only allows her to spend quality time with each child individually but also exposes her daughter to the behind-the-scenes of her business and showcases the enjoyment she finds in her work.
Kim stated that she wanted to bring North on the trip because she thoroughly enjoys her work. Her goal is for her children to develop a genuine love for what they do, find their passion, and learn how to turn it into a successful business.
A month earlier, Kanye praised Kim for being the primary parent to their children. He expressed his willingness to provide advice that would benefit their kids, acknowledging that Kim takes on the majority of the responsibility in raising them. Despite their previous back-and-forth, Kanye emphasized the importance of incorporating his own beliefs and values into their children's upbringing.
