Kim Kardashian and Kanye West proudly watched as their oldest daughter, North West, stole the show at the Pride Rock and Hollywood.

At the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, May 24, 10-year-old North took on the role of Young Simba in the live Lion King concert. Dressed in a lion-inspired costume, she sang “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” with an introduction by Jason Weaver, the original singing voice of the character in the 1994 animated film.

An eyewitness exclusively tells We that North performed with a smile, showing a mix of nerves and confidence. They noted that she seemed to be enjoying herself and giving her best effort. The insider mentioned that North never forgot the words and moved around the stage while dancing. They also added that she looked really happy and was always smiling.

North, who sang one song on Friday, received support from her famous family, including both of her parents. Kardashian, 43, shared behind-the-scenes pictures on her Instagram Story before North's performance, while West, 46, was seen constantly on his phone during the show.

Kanye quickly grabbed his phone to start recording once she started. The rapper was sitting close to Kardashian and their younger children, Saint, 7, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5.

The source mentioned that North's singing talent was evident during the performance, describing her as absolutely adorable and having a good voice with good rhythm. It seems like she will grow up to be a great singer.

After the concert on Friday, North joined the rest of the cast for the curtain call, which included Jennifer Hudson and Billy Eichner. In the audience, Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, and Kris Jenner were there to support their family member and cheer her on.

The source mentioned that North waved and clapped with everyone else. She looked adorable, waving and smiling at the crowd as she left the stage. It seemed like she was enjoying herself and didn't want the night to be over!

It was revealed earlier that North is currently in the process of creating her first album, Elementary School Dropout. This title is likely a nod to her father's 2004 album, College Dropout.

“It’s gonna be great,” North teased to Jazzy’s World TV in March, noting there is no confirmed release date just yet.

Music is just one of North’s passions.

She shared in an i-D magazine cover story in October 2023 that she wants to be a basketball player, a rapper, and eventually run Kardashian’s Skims empire. When she was 7, she dreamed of being a boxer, but now she has changed her mind.

North also mentioned her plans to pursue art on the side. By the time she turns 13, she aims to walk dogs to earn money for art supplies, as everything in her area is quite pricey. She envisions herself as a rapper, a basketball player, and an artist who sells her own artwork.
