Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s daughters, Sunday and Faith Urban, stepped onto the red carpet together for the first time to celebrate their mom’s successful career. The special occasion took place on Saturday, April 27, at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Kidman, 56, dazzled in a gold Balenciaga gown, while Urban, 56, looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo.

On Sunday, Kidman wore a floral strapless gown while her daughter Faith, 13, rocked a strapless coral dress. Kidman's niece, Sybella Hawley, Antonia's daughter, also joined them on the red carpet. Sybella looked beautiful in a red corset gown with a draped silk skirt.

Among the other celebrities present at the AFI tribute were Reese Witherspoon, Joey King, Miles Teller, Jane Seymour, Lily Rabe, Morgan Freeman, Mike Myers, Michelle Pfeiffer, Naomi Watts, and directors Lee Daniels, Aaron Sorkin, Ava DuVernay, and Barry Jenkins.

Kidman was emotional as she greeted industry friends and her family at the event. This was a special moment as she became the first Australian performer to receive the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in American cinema. Previous recipients of this honor include Julie Andrews, Meryl Streep, Denzel Washington, and other iconic actors.

In her heartfelt acceptance speech, Kidman expressed gratitude to her husband Urban, their daughters, and her entire family. She also acknowledged the "enormous amount of luck" that has played a significant role in her successful career.

Sunday Urban, Nicole Kidman, and Keith Urban were present at the 49th Annual AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony, which honored Nicole Kidman. The event took place at the Dolby Theatre on April 27, 2024, in Hollywood, California.

"There's also something very important to me - love," she mentioned. "A deep, profound love. And standing right beside me are the loves of my life. My daughters have never joined me on a red carpet before, but tonight is their first time. So, I have Sunday and Faith here with me."

Kidman shared that her mother, Janelle, would be watching the event through livestream, and she feels her late father Tony's presence with her every day.

"I am grateful for my nieces, nephews, sister, aunt, and her husband, who are like family to me because of you," she expressed. "I love you so much. They say there's no place like home, and you are my home. Thank you for traveling halfway across the world."

Kidman, who also has children Bella, 31, and Conor, 29, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, has been a part of Hollywood since she was a teenager. She has appeared in various films such as Dead Calm (1989), Billy Bathgate (1991), To Die For (1995), Moulin Rouge! (2001), and The Hours (2002), where she won an Oscar. Additionally, she won an Emmy for her role in the TV series Big Little Lies in 2017.

"This 14-year-old girl never expected to work with so many talented people and portray various characters," Kidman shared on Instagram with a throwback video of her in 1983's Bush Christmas.

Later on Saturday, Kidman expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support worldwide and thanked the @AmericanFilmInstitute for including her in a prestigious group of honorees at the AFI gala.
