Nicola Peltz Beckham couldn't make it to her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday party, but there was a good reason for her absence. Beckham had a lavish celebration at a private members club in London, but Peltz Beckham, who is 29, was not able to attend.

Nicola, married to Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, the oldest son of Victoria and David Beckham, shared on her Instagram Story on Sunday, April 21, that she chose to spend time with her grandmother instead. She captioned a lovely photo of them together with, "My world in my arms."

She later posted a picture of Victoria and David, along with their sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz, as well as their daughter Harper, at the birthday celebration.

Nicola recently posted a photo of herself with Victoria Beckham, wishing her a happy birthday with a heartfelt message. Victoria responded with equal affection, expressing her love for Nicola.

However, despite Nicola's kind words, some fans have speculated about a possible feud between the two. The rumors started circulating after Nicola chose not to wear one of Victoria's designs at her wedding to Brooklyn in April 2022.

Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn’t make it, so unfortunately, the original plan of designing the dress together couldn't happen. I then discussed with my mom and Leslie about the next steps. Since I have been a long-time admirer of Valentino and their couture, I was fortunate enough to travel to their atelier to try on the dress. And that's how it all unfolded.

Nicola expressed how rumors of her not wanting to wear Victoria's designs are upsetting to her. She mentioned, "It does hurt my feelings. I try not to let it, but it's just not the truth. It's just a bit of a bummer when you're like, 'Oh, people think that,' but it's just not true."

In March 2023, Nicola once again denied any rumors of having a conflict with Victoria.

"I've said it many times before: There's no feud. I don't know. People always focus on the negative stuff," the model shared with Cosmopolitan. "It's strange, whether it's about me, someone else, or something else. It's frustrating when you know the truth but read something completely false."

Victoria has made efforts to dismiss the rumors of a feud as well. In February, Nicola marked her directorial debut with the film Lola, and Victoria happily celebrated this significant achievement of her daughter-in-law.

Victoria took to Instagram to express her pride and congratulations to @NicolaAnnePeltzBeckham for her amazing film, Lola. She shared photos of the pair at the premiere in Los Angeles.
