Victoria Beckham reveals that David Beckham came close to missing a significant family milestone, one of several shocking revelations shared in their newly released documentary. Premiering on Wednesday, October 4, the four-part Netflix docuseries "Beckham" provides an intimate glimpse into the life of the 48-year-old soccer star. During an interview, Victoria, 49, recounts the near-miss moment when her husband's scheduled photoshoot with Jennifer Lopez almost caused him to miss the birth of their third son, Cruz, in 2005.

"I exclaimed, 'Seriously, I'm on the brink of bursting, confined to bed rest. Can you believe it?!' she recounted. 'You have a freaking photo shoot with the stunning Jennifer Lopez, who isn't even close to having a baby.'

The former member of Spice Girls went on, 'So, I had my C-section and I vividly recall lying there. I didn't feel the slightest bit beautiful, let's just put it that way. Then someone showed me the newspaper's front page - a captivating photo of David positioned between Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé. The headline read, 'What would Posh say?' Well, let me tell you what Posh would say. Posh was furious!'"

Victoria and David tied the knot in 1999 and have four children together: Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12. Throughout the years, there have been persistent rumors of marital troubles, including allegations of infidelity. One particular incident was highlighted in Beckham, where David's move to Spain to join Real Madrid in 2003 resulted in claims made by models Rebecca Loos and Sarah Marbeck, stating that they had each had affairs with him.

Victoria described it as the most miserable period she had ever experienced, admitting that she suppressed her own pain for the sake of David and ultimately developed resentment towards him. Despite feeling unheard, she always prioritized David's needs.

In response to the rumors, David released a statement denying them. He reiterated his denial in the documentary, acknowledging the immense challenges he faced during that time.

“We had to fight for one another, we had to fight for our family," he stated. "And what we possessed was valuable enough to fight for. However, ultimately, it is our personal life."

In the year 2018, Victoria and David confronted another wave of rumors about their potential separation.

Victoria’s representative denied any notion of an impending or past statement regarding a divorce. The rep characterized the rumors as baseless and fueled by fake news spread through social media.
