Nicholas Hoult and his eldest son, Joaquin, appeared strikingly similar while bonding at a basketball game during a special family outing.
The 34-year-old Mad Max: Fury Road actor was seen sitting courtside with his 5-year-old son, Joaquin, as they watched the Atlanta Hawks compete against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, March 31, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
Joaquin, wearing a Hawks jersey, blue jeans, checkered Vans slip-ons, and a black cap, was seen talking quietly to his dad while holding onto a Trae Young plushie.
Hoult and his girlfriend Bryana Holly share Joaquin. They also have a 12-month-old child together, whose name remains a mystery.
In March 2017, the X-Men: Dark Phoenix actor was first linked to the Playboy model, who is 30 years old. One year later, the couple quietly welcomed their first baby.

It wasn’t until February 2020 that Holly revealed their first baby with Hoult was a boy. She captioned an Instagram photo with Joaquin at the fair as "Forever valentine."
Three months later, Hoult made a special appearance on the Late Late Show With James Corden, offering fans a rare look into his life as a father.
During the show, Hoult expressed his joy in being a father, saying, "I'm really enjoying it. It's crazy. Being a parent is a learning experience, right? There's so much to absorb. But overall, it's like a blast from the past, bringing back memories of my own childhood."
The Tolkien star shared that he is enjoying playing again, especially during this time when everything is shut down and he doesn't have to work. He mentioned that he spends his days playing with trains and finds it to be great.
After becoming a parent, Hoult admitted to host James Corden that he doesn't understand how he was able to act in a play when he was just 3 years old.
“How do you convince the kid to do what you want them to do, like designate a time on stage?” Hoult wondered. “Because I can’t convince [my son] to do anything.”
