A recent leak from Genshin Impact has revealed that the upcoming Version 3.8 update will include three new Character Cards for the Genius Invokation TCG. Since the game's TCG mode was introduced, the developers have regularly added new cards with each patch, including character cards based on fan-favorite heroes and villains. The upcoming Version 3.7 update will see the addition of more than 60 cards, including 13 new Character Cards featuring popular characters like Hu Tao and each region's Archon. Additionally, an event focused on Genius Invokation TCG will introduce new characters such as Kirara and the first Fontaine character, Charlotte. Even more characters are expected to join the TCG before the launch of Fontaine.
Three new Character Cards are set to join the TCG of Genshin Impact, as shared in an update on the leaks subreddit. These characters, Kazuha, Candace, and Yanfei, were part of a previous massive leak from the game. Kazuha, who is also set to feature on one of Version 3.7's limited gacha banners, will be added to the TCG as a playable character. The Version 3.8 update to Genius Invokation TCG is expected to launch in early July and will be the final update for the Sumeru region.
The kits for the Character Cards have not been revealed yet, but it is expected that the three new additions will function similarly to their Genshin Impact counterparts. Kazuha's focus will be on providing powerful effects for teams built around Swirling elements with Anemo. Candace's gameplay is expected to benefit teams focused around Hydro, as her Genshin Impact version offers both a counter and on-hit Hydro damage for players. Yanfei's introduction to the TCG could bring a unique stacking mechanic, similar to the charge system used with her Charged Attacks.
The Genius Invokation TCG leaks have come just as new information has started to surface for Genshin Impact's Version 3.8. The upcoming update will reportedly add a new limited-time region to the game, believed to serve as a lead-in to the release of Fontaine. Additionally, it is heavily rumored that both four-star character Kaeya and five-star character Klee will receive their first skins in the update. Genshin Impact's Version 3.8 update looks to have plenty in store as the precursor to the game's newest region.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
