6 Jango
In the Syrup Village arc of One Piece, Jango is a significant character who plays a crucial role. He serves as Captain Kuro's right-hand man in both the anime and manga. When Kuro is absent, Jango takes charge of the Black Cat Pirates and leads the invasion of Syrup Village during the arc.
Moreover, Jango is assigned the important task of hypnotizing Kaya, ultimately persuading her to write her will. However, it is unfortunate that Jango doesn't appear in the Netflix adaptation of One Piece Live Action, resulting in a different direction for the events of the Syrup Village arc.
5 Gaimon
Gaimon, an intriguing character, appears shortly after the Orange Town arc. The Straw Hat Pirates encounter him on the Island of Rare Animals, where fans learn about his 20-year-long stranded situation. The concept of treasure is explored in both the anime and manga during this arc.
Although Gaimon does not appear in the live-action adaptation of One Piece, his role holds little significance in the overall story of the East Blue. However, he is mentioned in Baratie through a painting, which depicts the rare animals' island.
4 The Usopp Pirates
The Syrup Village arc introduces the Usopp Pirates to fans as Usopp's loyal underlings. They have a close and nurturing relationship with him. In a poignant moment, Usopp disbands the crew to embark on his solo adventure. The absence of this group in Netflix's One Piece Live Action series is not a concern for fans.
3 Johnny
Johnny, a beloved character in both the One Piece anime and manga, gained popularity during the East Blue saga. As a pirate hunter, he had an existing connection with Zoro even prior to his encounter with Luffy. Zoro shares a strong bond with Johnny, and they reunite just before the Baratie events unfold.
Interestingly, Johnny and his friend play a crucial role in leading the crew to Baratie. Throughout the arc, Johnny remains with the crew and accompanies them to Arlong Park. However, in Netflix's One Piece Live Action Series, Johnny is conspicuously absent.
2 Yosaku
Yosaku, Johnny's friend and a Pirate Hunter, had an enjoyable relationship with Johnny during the East Blue Saga of One Piece anime and manga. Similar to Johnny, Yosaku knew Zoro before meeting Luffy.
Yosaku, alongside Johnny, crosses paths with the Straw Hat Pirates and accompanies them to Baratie. Later, he continues to travel with the crew to Arlong Park, where he plays a significant role. Although Yosaku is absent in the live-action series, his absence is not greatly felt since he and his brother are not vital characters.
1 Hachi
Hachi, a Fishman with octopus abilities, belongs to Arlong's crew. Although he is considered less threatening than the other members, Hachi ends up engaging in a battle with Zoro during the events at Arlong Park. However, in the live-action adaptation of One Piece, the character of Hachi is not included.
This does not imply that Hachi will not eventually appear in the series. Fans anticipate that Hachi's significance will be highlighted when his connections with Rayleigh and Shakky are explored. It is possible that viewers will witness his first appearance during the Sabaody Archipelago arc.
