Take Care of Maya
Adding to Netflix's extensive catalog of documentaries is Take Care of Maya. In 2016, a ten-year-old named Maya Kowalski was admitted to Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. As the medical team worked to understand her rare illness, they also began to question the truths that held the Kowalski family together. Maya's subsequent placement in state custody set off a chain of tragic events that irrevocably altered the lives of the Kowalski family and will challenge viewers' perceptions of children's healthcare.
