In Marvel Snap, players will collect an increasing number of themed cards based on various characters from the Marvel multiverse. Among these cards, there are different Energy Costs, with 6-Cost cards being highly significant in the virtual card game. This is because, in Marvel Snap, there are typically six rounds, making 6-Cost cards typically the final cards played in a match.
Therefore, fans will want to ensure they are utilizing the most effective 6-Cost cards in the game and not making the mistake of using 6-Cost cards that do not have a significant impact in Marvel Snap's current meta.
8 Agatha Harkness
While it may seem impressive that some cards in Marvel Snap have a high amount of Power, it is important to note that this alone doesn't make them exceptional for use in a match. A prime example of this is Agatha Harkness, whose card possesses a whopping 14 Power.
However, despite her considerable Power, Agatha Harkness has a unique ability that dictates she starts in the player's hand and takes charge of playing their cards. In essence, Agatha Harkness creates a deck that operates somewhat similar to an AFK strategy, where the player relinquishes control to the card itself. Nevertheless, without proper control and guidance, Agatha can often lead to consistent losses, rendering her Power ineffective.
7 Spectrum
Spectrum was once highly favored among players for their Ongoing decks, particularly in the early stages. This 6-Cost card, however, falls short in terms of power with only 5 Power, making it comparatively weaker than higher-Cost cards.
Moreover, Spectrum's On Reveal ability lacks the significance necessary for it to be deemed necessary for synergistic combinations. On Reveal merely grants +2 Power to other Ongoing cards, such as Iron Man, which is insufficient in causing a remarkable surge in power.
6 Orka
Orka shares a similar Ongoing ability with Namor, solidifying them as a formidable duo of individual powerhouses. However, this very characteristic also renders them somewhat weaker compared to others.
Notably, Orka boasts an impressive 11 Power. Yet, his Ongoing ability stipulates that if there are no other friendly cards present at his location, Orka gains an additional +5 Power. While this can elevate Orka's Power to a total of 16, the limitation of not being able to have other cards at his location hinders its effective use.
5 Destroyer
Destruction cards are among Marvel Snap's most formidable character combinations, with a few exceptions. Destroyer, however, stands out as an exception due to its excessively powerful On Reveal ability, which makes complete utilization difficult.
Destroyer, a 6-Cost card with 15 Power, possesses the On Reveal ability to annihilate all other friendly cards. While this ability can be beneficial when combined with cards requiring destruction, it relies on chance to ensure the appropriate cards are drawn at the opportune moments, thereby rendering Destroyer decks unpredictable.
4 Leader
Content has fallen to the bottom of the 6-Cost card tier list after gaining popularity in the Marvel Snap community. However, Leader's standing has declined due to its low power of only 2, making it one of the weakest 6-Cost characters in the mobile and PC card game. Additionally, Leader's On Reveal ability is not as dependable as others, making it unreliable in the meta. This ability allows Leader to copy the highest Powered card played by the enemy on the player's side of the location, which can be occasionally helpful but too unpredictable overall.
3 Helicarrier
The Helicarrier card in Marvel Snap is notorious for its unreliability, except for fans who appreciate its random card mechanic, like Agent 13. Despite its 10 Power, the Helicarrier is often discarded and its usefulness is questionable.
Once discarded, the Helicarrier adds three random cards to the player's hand. As a 6-Cost card, the Helicarrier's ability might not offer enough value to be truly useful in any deck, except when combined with The Collector for synergistic strategies.
2 Doctor Doom
Doctor Doom emerges as one of Marvel's most formidable villains. However, in the Marvel Snap game, he falls short of meeting fans' high expectations. Despite being able to bring a paltry 5 Power to a location independently, which is insufficient, his additional power to summon two Doombots with 4 Power each to other locations lacks the necessary impact for effective synergy, strategy, or general usability in Marvel Snap.
1 Arnim Zola
Not many characters in Marvel Snap have 0 Power, but when they do, fans can usually tell that they have a strong proficiency in some way. Unfortunately for Arnim Zola, his On Reveal ability doesn't counteract the fact that his card only has 0 Power. When Arnim Zola is played on a location, he destroys a random friendly card that is already at that location and then copies it onto the other locations.
However, with powerful cards like Venom and Ronan (who both have a lot of Power), Arnim Zola can help control two locations. In simple terms, Arnim Zola's destructive ability is unpredictable when it comes to locations with more than one friendly card and irrelevant with cards that have low Power.
