Marvel Snap's latest update has introduced a new game mode, Conquest, and a range of special rewards for players to compete for. Unlike the main game mode, Conquest offers a high-risk/high-reward challenge in a seasonal single-elimination tournament, taking competition to the next level. Despite ongoing controversy with Marvel Snap's monetization model, the addition of Conquest and other new content like Mystery Series 3 and Weekend Missions shows that developer Second Dinner is dedicated to keeping the game fresh and interesting for players. Conquest is particularly beneficial for free-to-play users, providing them with additional rewards and a chance to enjoy innovative gameplay.
How Conquest Mode Works in Marvel Snap
In Conquest mode, players aim to climb up the ranks by taking on increasingly challenging opponents. The catch is that losing even once means being knocked back down to the starting point. Starting in the Proving Grounds tier, Marvel Snap players only need to defeat one opponent to earn a Silver ticket, which grants entry to the next tier. To progress to the Gold tier, players must win two consecutive matches. Then, in the final tier, Infinity, players need to win three matches in a row to earn a ticket. Access to Infinity is only granted in the last week of the season, and to earn the ultimate reward of a special Infinity frame for their avatar, players must win five matches in a row. Marvel Snap's best players will compete in the toughest matches, but if a player loses at any point, they can either start again from Proving Grounds or use Gold currency to buy their way back into a previously reached tier.
Marvel Snap's Conquest Mode Rewards
By participating in Conquest, players can earn a range of rewards, including the coveted Infinity avatar border. These rewards cannot be obtained from any other shop in Marvel Snap. To earn them, players must collect Medals by winning matches in Conquest, with higher tiers awarding more Medals. These Medals can then be spent at the Medal Shop on a variety of rewards, including mystery variants, credits, gold, boosters, unique titles and avatars, and even tickets for each of Conquest mode's tiers. Furthermore, purchasing enough rewards throughout the season will lead to a unique reward at the end, with this season's being a special Green Goblin card variant for players who purchase nine rewards from the Medal Shop. With all the unique rewards and currency available through Conquest, the latest update for Marvel Snap represents a significant advancement for the game.
