Renee Graziano shared that she experienced a fentanyl overdose last year that almost took her life.

In a preview clip from her upcoming interview on Bunnie XO’s “Dumb Blonde” podcast, the 55-year-old Mob Wives star opened up about the incident, stating, “I OD’ed over this. I just lost my whole life. I couldn’t come up for air.” The podcast episode is set to be released on Wednesday, March 6th.

Before her overdose, Graziano went through difficulties with her family. Her younger sister Jennifer Graziano refused to talk to her for a year and a half.

"Everything was a mess in my life. My son AJ Pagan didn't want to communicate with me," she explained. "No one wanted to talk to me."

Renee, 52, was not only dealing with a strained relationship with Jennifer and her son but also grieving the loss of her father, Anthony Graziano, who passed away in May 2019. With everything seeming to overwhelm her, Renee confessed that she felt like giving up.

"I just couldn't handle it anymore," Renee shared. "On September 18th, someone gave me a bag of fentanyl instead of the drug I was expecting."

Renee shared with Bunnie XO how she had obtained the drugs from someone she “trusted” rather than a drug dealer. She revealed that a person she knew had vouched for the supplier. In May 2023, the reality star admitted to overdosing while in Florida. However, Renee confessed that she has no recollection of the events leading up to the overdose. She mentioned that “three days are wiped” from her memory.

Reflecting on the incident, Renee recalled the harrowing experience of dying in a Florida restaurant. She revealed that she was declared dead and had to be intubated for three days. Despite the severity of the situation, none of her family members visited her in the hospital. Renee spent nine days in the hospital, where she had to undergo therapy to relearn how to walk. This traumatic event served as a turning point for her.

Renee doesn't hold her family responsible for not visiting her in the hospital. She acknowledges that she caused them a lot of stress and understands why they didn't think she would survive.

After getting better, Renee made the decision to start a new chapter in her life and reached out to the Odom Recovery Group for assistance in November 2023, according to TMZ.

In 2012, Renee went to rehab. Her representative clarified to Page Six that she was not there for any drug or alcohol-related issues.

The statement from Graziano's rep emphasized that Renee's decision to enter rehab was completely voluntary. It was made to improve her son AJ's life and to enhance her overall well-being - physically, mentally, and spiritually.
