Drita D’Avanzo has a knack for exuding a boss-like presence. With her six-season run on VH1’s Mob Wives, she has become a go-to source for inspiration on the hottest trend of winter 2024: The Mob Wife Aesthetic.

In an exclusive interview with We, D’Avanzo revealed her essential items for achieving the look. According to the former TV personality, key pieces include animal print, leather, fur, oversized sunglasses, and of course, plenty of bling. "You have to be bold and confident," she emphasized.

To enhance your look, she suggests allowing your face to stand out. D'Avanzo, the creator of Lady Boss cosmetics, shared that her personal style always included bold red lips, winged eyeliner, and lots of lashes, especially on the outer corners.

She also mentioned her love for animal prints, such as snakeskin pants, which she finds very alluring. As a mother of two daughters, Gizelle and Aleeya, whom she shares with her ex Lee D'Avanzo, she enjoys incorporating these stylish elements into her wardrobe.

D’Avanzo suggests keeping it simple when it comes to prints: “Don’t overload. Mix it up,” she advised. “Don’t go too wild.”

She also recommends sticking to all-black leather if you’re wearing a bold leopard jacket. “Avoid pairing animal print fur with animal print pants — you don’t want to look like a leopard!”

D’Avanzo mentioned a few celebrities who rocked the trend, such as Drea de Matteo and Bebe Rexha. However, she declared one standout star. "Dua Lipa was my ultimate favorite, she totally nailed it," she expressed, recalling the singer's stylish appearance in Tribeca in November 2023. "She had on a stunning black fur coat paired with a black lace outfit - that's a look I absolutely love."

D’Avanzo has been making public appearances recently, such as on Watch What Happens Live! and hosting a Mob Wives-themed event at Ainslie in New York City. Despite keeping a low profile in recent years, she believes fans are drawn to her now because of her simple and understated style. "They know I don’t throw a million things together and I don’t overdo it," she said. "I like just a little bit of something, something."

Good news for fans of D’Avanzo! She will be guest bartending at Ainslie, serving a drink she created called “Knockout.” In addition to this, she is collaborating with her friend Stacey Levin on a scripted series based on her life story. D’Avanzo is excited about this new project and promises that it will be something special.
