Mind-Blowing Fanart: Keanu Reeves Takes on the Multiverse as Batman!

Keanu Reeves mesmerizes as a Multiverse Batman in stunning fanart, portraying a Dark Knight who fearlessly wields guns and embraces vengeance, reminiscent of his iconic John Wick persona Prepare to be captivated by this extraordinary crossover

Keanu Reeves takes on the role of Flashpoint Batman in a stunning fan art that envisions the actor's portrayal of the character alongside Robert Pattinson's Batman. In this alternate reality depicted in Geoff Johns' comic and the animated adaptation by Jay Oliva, Flashpoint Paradox, Bruce Wayne is deceased while his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, are alive.

In the Flashpoint storyline, Thomas Wayne transforms into a ruthless Batman armed with guns, while Martha Wayne becomes the twisted villain known as the Joker. While the upcoming Flash film will present its own interpretation of Flashpoint, Michael Keaton will reprise his role as Batman instead of Thomas Wayne's version. Additionally, Zack Snyder had intended to explore his own take on Flashpoint in his Justice League saga, where Jeffrey Dean Morgan would have portrayed Thomas Wayne Batman, as established in Batman v Superman. Despite these different iterations, fanart from Matt Reeves' Batman universe imagines Keanu Reeves as Thomas Wayne Batman.

M.design34 showcased an incredible fan art creation on Instagram featuring Keanu Reeves as Flashpoint Batman. Despite only revealing the lower half of the actor's face, it is evident that it is Reeves due to his distinctive beard style and facial expression. The suit appears to be a modified version of Pattinson's Batsuit, as indicated by the caption "The Batman-verse." Drawing inspiration from Reeves' gritty and composed performance in John Wick, the artwork envisions Thomas Wayne as the Flashpoint Batman in Reeves' Batman universe. This portrayal aligns with the character's use of guns in combat. It is a fitting choice considering Reeves' longstanding desire to portray Batman, and this iteration allows him to depict an older version of the character who incorporates his firearms and close-quarters combat skills from John Wick.

While the identity of the DCU Batman remains unconfirmed, speculations suggest that the chosen actor may also lend their voice to animated projects. Reeves has previously voiced Batman in DC League of Super-Pets and has openly expressed his admiration for the character. Therefore, it is hopeful that Warner Bros. Discovery considers him should an opportunity arise to wear the iconic cape and cowl. Jensen Ackles, known for his roles in Supernatural and The Boys, currently voices Batman and has also shown interest in playing the character. At this stage, the next Batman remains uncertain, as it could potentially be someone other than these two candidates.

Reeves' Constantine sequel was reportedly in development, but after discussions with DC Studios CEO James Gunn and Peter Safran, Reeves stated that Constantine 2 is currently being "re-evaluated." However, he remains optimistic about its potential. This is where the DC Elseworlds label comes into play, as it provides an opportunity for the Constantine sequel and a potential Batman adaptation starring Reeves to exist outside the DCU. You can now stream Flashpoint Paradox on HBO Max.
