We are happy to share that Meghan, who is 42 years old, personally did the calligraphy for the logo of her new lifestyle brand. This elegant design showcases the brand's name written in a delicate gold cursive font.
It's no surprise that Meghan designed the logo for her latest project, considering her background as a calligrapher. Before her acting career took off with Suits, Meghan taught calligraphy, gift-wrapping, and book-binding at a Paper Source store in Beverly Hills from 2004 to 2005. She also worked as a freelance calligrapher, with celebrity clients such as Robin Thicke and Paula Patton.
In 2018, Patton, who is now 48 years old, shared with Entertainment Tonight that she had met Meghan when the Duchess helped her with her wedding invitations. Patton was impressed by Meghan's beautiful writing and remarked that she felt Meghan was destined to be royal. Describing Meghan as graceful, lovely, and kind, Patton recalled the moment fondly. (Patton and Thicke were married from 2005 to 2015.)
Meghan used her handwriting skills while working for Dolce & Gabanna, handling celebrity correspondence during the holiday season.
In a 2013 interview with Esquire, Meghan humorously mentioned that there might still be some of her calligraphy business cards out in the world. She joked, "I can't wait for someone to call me in a month and ask, 'Can you do these for my son's Bar Mitzvah?'"
Meghan rose to fame when she starred as Rachel Zane on the hit show Suits, which premiered in 2011. Her popularity soared even higher when she began dating Prince Harry, whom she eventually married in 2018 after two years of courtship. In 2020, Meghan and Harry, now 39, decided to step back from their royal responsibilities and make a fresh start in Montecito, California, where they now reside with their two children, Archie, who is 4 years old, and Lilibet, who is 2.
In March, Meghan revealed her new venture, American Riviera Orchard, and in the following month, she excitedly shared baskets filled with the brand's very first product, delicious strawberry jam.
American Riviera Orchard may be featured in Meghan's upcoming Netflix show, which will highlight the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship. Meghan will not only be the executive producer but also the host of the series. The premiere date is still unknown, as it is part of her and Harry's long-term agreement with Netflix.
The couple's second Netflix project focuses on the world of professional polo and was largely filmed at the U.S. Open Polo Championship. While Harry has a deep love for the sport, it remains uncertain whether he will make an appearance on screen.
