During a recent interview on Good Morning America, Megan Fox, 37, opened up about experiencing a miscarriage while in a relationship with her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly. "It was a completely new and challenging experience for me," she shared. "Having three kids already, it was a difficult time for both of us, and it led us on a rollercoaster journey together and individually, trying to understand the meaning behind it and the reason for its occurrence."
Fox's new book, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, delves into the topic of pregnancy loss through the medium of two profound poems. Within one section, she vividly recounts the poignant moment of viewing a 10-week and one-day ultrasound of a baby girl, pondering "What if you hadn't... what if I had?"
In another instance, Fox envisions the heartbreaking experience of holding her unborn child while being forcibly separated from her own body. With heartfelt emotion, she questions the cost she would willingly pay for her baby's soul, asking, "Tell me, please, what is the ransom?"
Fans had previously speculated that Fox experienced a miscarriage following the release of Kelly's song "Last November" in June 2022. In the track, Kelly, also known as Colson Baker, sang about not hearing the heartbeat and expressed a desire to go back to November of the previous year. Prior to this, during the Billboard Music Awards, Kelly dedicated a performance of "Twin Flame" to his "wife" and their "unborn child."
In January 2022, Fox announced her engagement to Kelly, with whom she has three children: Noah (11), Bodhi (9), and Journey (7). On the other hand, Kelly has a daughter named Casie (14) from his previous relationship with Emma Cannon. Despite experiencing various challenges throughout their relationship that started in 2020, Fox revealed that her fiancé was a source of inspiration for her book, which features poems about their love story.
Colson was the one who encouraged me to write a poetry book," she revealed during her appearance on GMA. "I felt a strong need to express myself through writing because keeping it inside was making me feel unwell."
According to an insider, Fox and Kelly have decided to slow down their wedding preparations. "When they initially got together, MGK and Megan were actively planning their wedding, but things have come to a halt," the source shared. Both individuals have a fiery temperament, so they chose to take a break from the planning process to avoid any possible conflicts.
Instead, the couple is prioritizing their relationship and ensuring its strength before considering their second wedding. The previous ceremony was a significant endeavor and placed a strain on their romance.
