Matty Healy is in the spotlight after Taylor Swift's new album, The Tortured Poets Department, was released.
During a walk on Wednesday, April 24, the 35-year-old was approached by a reporter who inquired about his Taylor diss track and how it stacks up against the 30 others.
Healy seemed confused when asked about his diss track, but the reporter quickly clarified that they were actually talking about Taylor Swift's latest music release.
In a video obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Healy laughed and admitted, "Oh, I haven't really listened to much of it, but I'm sure it's good."
Swift, aged 34, dated the musician from The 1975 in the spring of 2023, just a month after she and Joe Alwyn ended their six-year relationship.
They first started seeing each other in 2014 but their romance was brief. By June 2023, they had split up. This happened after an old podcast interview of his resurfaced online where he made insensitive remarks about Swift's friend, Ice Spice.

Swift has since moved on from Healy, as she has been dating Travis Kelce since summer 2023. However, this did not prevent her from writing songs about their whirlwind romance.
Fans have speculated that some of her TTPD songs, such as "But Daddy I Love Him" and "Fortnight," were influenced by her relationship with Healy.
The aforementioned reporter was asking Healy about “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” in which Swift sings: “And I don’t miss what we had but could someone give / A message to the smallest man who ever lived.”
The latest theory taking over the internet adds Swift’s “Florida!!!” to that list, with one fan pointing to the lyrics “Florida is one hell of a drug / Florida can I use you up?” to speculate that Swift’s “drugs” reference could actually mean Healy.
The fan mentioned in a TikTok video on Tuesday, April 23 that they saw the couple together after Joe's breakup. They believe that being with him is like a drug that helps her move on from Joe.
Following the release of the album on Friday, April 19, a source revealed exclusively to We that Healy was feeling a sense of relief.
"Matty still holds Taylor in high regard, but we were all anxious about what she might have revealed on the album," a source shared with Us.
The insider mentioned that those close to Healy are thrilled with how Swift's album turned out. "Matty's family was aware of the relationship," the source explained. "They were concerned that Taylor would criticize him. Matty has had challenges dealing with fame, and he's been managing well. The last thing he needs is for Swift fans to see him in a negative light."
Editor's P/S:
Matty Healy's nonchalant response to Taylor Swift's new album, which reportedly contains songs inspired by their brief romance, has sparked interest and speculation. Despite the numerous diss tracks targeting Swift, Healy appears unfazed, claiming he hasn't listened to much of her music. This indifference could stem from his own struggles with fame and the potential backlash from Swift's fans. Healy's family, aware of the relationship, had concerns about Swift's portrayal of him, but the album's lack of overt criticism seems to have allayed those fears.
However, the lyrics of "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" and "Florida!!!" have ignited fan theories that Swift is alluding to Healy. The references to a "small man" and "drugs" have led some to speculate that Swift is using coded language to express her feelings about their relationship. Healy's silence on the matter has only fueled the speculation, leaving fans to dissect Swift's lyrics and draw their own conclusions.
