Update v25.11 introduced unforeseen additions to Fortnite, such as two fresh Reality Augments and a newly introduced healing item that replaced the Chug Cannon. As more updates become available, Chapter 4 Season 3 continues to expand its repertoire of weapons and items.
Fortnite enthusiasts now have the opportunity to acquire Slap Splash, an item that functions similarly to the now-retired Chug Splash. This guide will explain the means by which players can obtain Slap Splash and the benefits it offers for those who choose to wield it.
How to Find Slap Splash
Players may have a difficult time locating the Slap Splash, an item of Exotic rarity, on the Battle Royale island. Unlike many other Exotic items in the game that can only be obtained by interacting with certain NPCs on the Fortnite map, there are multiple ways to acquire the Slap Splash.
While it is possible to find the Slap Splash as floor loot, inside chests, or coolers, these occurrences are quite rare due to the item's high rarity. Alternatively, players can keep an eye out for Holo-Chests or try capturing Points of Interest (POIs) as there is a chance for the Slap Splash to appear using these methods. However, it should be noted that obtaining a Slap Splash through these means is entirely based on luck and there is no guarantee of its availability.
To effectively locate the Slap Splash, engage in drone takedowns within Hot Spots. Identifying a Hot Spot is easy as its name on the map appears in yellow, indicating a significant area where loot-laden drones constantly traverse during the entirety of the game.
If gamers are fortunate, they may also be given the opportunity to activate the Splash Party Augment, an added benefit introduced to the game at the same time as the Slap Splash in a recent update. Opting for this Augment will provide the player with a few cans of Slap Splash.
How to Use Slap Splash
The Slap Splash works just like Slap Juice, but since it's a throwable item, it can be used on multiple players at once.
To utilize the Slap Splash, the player must press and hold the targeting button before releasing it in their desired direction. Upon impact, it detonates, providing advantageous effects to anyone struck by its contents.
The Slap Splash grants a healing boost of 15 HP and instantaneously restores the player's energy to full for a brief duration.
Fortnite is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
