In Final Fantasy 16, corruption exists in various forms. The Mothercrystals and the resulting aetherflood affect all living beings, including humans, plants, and animals, turning them into Akashic beings. Therefore, Clive and his allies are determined to prevent the corruption from taking over Valisthea, at any cost.
Unfortunately, by the time the heroes discover this situation, certain locations and the creatures inhabiting them have already been affected. To ensure the safety of others, these creatures must be eliminated, including the formidable opponent known as Agni, a Notorious Mark in Final Fantasy 16. Brace yourself for a challenging battle ahead.
Where to Find Agni in Final Fantasy 16
How to Beat Agni in Final Fantasy 16
After initiating the Brotherhood main quest, players will have the opportunity to hunt down the formerly peaceful creature known as the Agni. To track down this majestic beast, players should consult the Hunt Board, which will direct them to Waloed. The Agni can be found in the southern area of the Halfcombe region, just before reaching The Edge of Infinity.
Players would have already faced two other creatures resembling Agni, but it is crucial not to underestimate the danger posed by its attacks. In addition to its typical close-range strikes and tail swipe combinations, caution must be exercised regarding the following:
Agni possesses a devastating move known as Collider, in which it propels itself towards Clive, inflicting significant damage. This maneuver will be executed a total of three times, culminating with a forceful slam using its entire body. Precise sideways evasions must be timed in order to evade harm and escape the path of the slam. Seizing this opportunity, players should unleash their Eikonic Abilities to inflict damage on the temporarily immobilized Agni.
Agni possesses a formidable long-range attack known as Firewater. It unleashes a torrent of fire, emanating from its mouth in a concise arc towards the front. This assault can be effortlessly evaded by sidestepping. Players may opt to launch a few counterattacks, but they must remain cautious as Agni consistently shifts its position, necessitating the need to be prepared for evasive maneuvers as well.
Agni's attacks, like those of other large creatures, often have a deliberate delay to trick players into mistiming their defense. Remain patient and continue attacking to gradually deplete its health. Eventually, the danger posed by Agni will be neutralized.
Defeating Agni will grant players 8000 XP, 100 Ability Points, 15500 Gil, and 35 Renown. In addition, the enemy will drop a useful Stone Tongue for crafting purposes.
