The Festival of Light 2023 event introduces new Shiny variants in Pokemon GO. This event features the debut of Shiny Morelull and its evolution, Shiny Shiinotic, along with other Electric and Fire-type Shiny monsters. These rare Pokemon have impressive power levels, providing trainers with more incentive to catch them.
In addition to Shiny Morelull and Shiny Shiinotic, Tadbulb and Bellibolt will also be making their debut in the Festival of Light 2023 event. The event begins on Tuesday, November 7, at 10 AM and concludes on Sunday, November 12, at 8 PM local time. Shiny Morelull and Shiny Shiinotic can be encountered through various methods, including as wild spawns, Egg hatches, and Incense encounters. This guide provides all the information trainers need to obtain Shiny Morelull and Shiny Shiinotic in the game.
How To Get Shiny Morelull In Pokemon GO
Morelull can be encountered in various ways in Pokemon GO. It can be found as a wild spawn, encountered through Incense, and hatched from 7 KM Eggs. This allows trainers to have multiple opportunities to encounter Morelull. Additionally, during the Festival of Light 2023 event and beyond, there is a possibility of encountering a Shiny variant of Morelull. This event offers an increased spawn rate for Shiny Grass and Fairy-type Pokemon, making it easier for players to obtain the Shiny Morelull.
Wild Spawns: Shiny Morelull
Morelull can be found in large numbers in the wild, but finding a Shiny Morelull is more difficult. Although it is possible for Pokémon GO players to come across a Shiny Morelull in the wild, it is not guaranteed. To increase the chances of encountering a Shiny Morelull, it is necessary to catch as many regular Morelull as possible.
The likelihood of encountering a Shiny Pokémon is connected to the frequency of their appearance and the odds of them being Shiny. While it is not possible to directly increase the spawn rate of a particular Pokémon species, the use of various items in Pokémon GO can help improve the chances of finding a Shiny Pokémon.
Trainers can enhance the spawn rate of Pokemon by utilizing Pokemon GO Incense and Lure Modules in conjunction with the Weather Boost effect. Morelull, for instance, is more likely to appear in sunny and cloudy weather, so trainers should seek out areas with similar weather conditions. By utilizing these items in areas with favorable weather, trainers can further increase the rate at which Pokemon spawn.
To maximize the effectiveness, trainers should attach a Pokemon GO Lure Module to a PokeStop or Gym in an area experiencing sunny or cloudy weather. Simultaneously, they should activate an Incense and explore the surrounding area. This combination will stack the effects of both items, resulting in a boosted spawn rate for the targeted Pokemon. Additionally, during events that highlight Morelull, employing this strategy can further amplify its spawn rate.
7 KM Eggs: Shiny Morelull
Gifts from friends in Pokemon GO can provide Trainers with 7 KM Eggs. These special Eggs hold the potential to hatch a variety of Shiny Pokemon, including the elusive Shiny Morelull. While encountering a Shiny Morelull in the wild is possible, the chances of obtaining this rare creature are higher when hatching it from an Egg.
Incense Spawn: Shiny Morelull
Incense is an in-game item that enhances the likelihood of encountering a variety of Pokemon in the vicinity of trainers. During the event, when Incense is activated, trainers have the chance to come across different Pokemon, including Morelull and its Shiny variations. However, it should be noted that stumbling upon a Shiny Pokemon is not guaranteed, and players must capture as many Morelull as they can in order to increase their chances of encountering a Shiny one.
How To Get Shiny Shiinotic In Pokemon GO
Players cannot directly obtain a Shiny Shiinotic in Pokémon GO; instead, they need to evolve a Shiny Morelull into a Shiny Shiinotic. Once a Shiny Morelull is captured, trainers can evolve it into a Shiny Shiinotic by feeding the creature 50 Candy. Pokémon GO trainers can acquire the necessary amount of in-game Candy by catching or transferring multiple Morelull, engaging in Buddy activities with Morelull, or using other methods.
