Master the Rotsumamu Shrine: Ultimate Walkthrough

In addition to the main story dungeons, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom also features more than 150 shrines scattered throughout Hyrule. While these mini-dungeons aren't necessary to progress the story, players should still make an effort to find them. Why? Because completing shrines will increase your character's health and stamina, giving you an advantage in battles to come.

Players will encounter various challenges in every shrine they come across, including the Rotsumamu Shrine found in Tears of the Kingdom. To help navigate and conquer this particular shrine, we have compiled a guide on its location and completion.

Located in the frigid Gerudo Highlands, the Rotsumamu Shrine sits at coordinates -3409, -1358, 0335 and can be found to the east of the Yiga Clan Hideout. Surviving the cold temperatures is crucial to accessing the shrine, making it imperative for players to equip themselves with adequate cold resistance. Once unlocked, players can use the shrine as a fast travel point, opening up new possibilities for exploration in the region.

Rotsumamu Shrine Walkthrough

Upon arrival at the Rotsumamu Shrine, players should immediately sprint towards the ramp and execute a jump to reach the next floor. Timing is crucial, as only swift players will be able to make it to the top. Once there, players can proceed to the metallic barrel and investigate it further. Don't forget to keep an eye out for any potential obstacles or enemies along the way.

Fuse the barrel to the bottom of the ramp using Ultrahand after picking it up. This will ensure that the barrel remains on the ground due to its weight and will enable players to jump to the next floor from the opposite end of the ramp. Stand on the left side of the ramp while doing so. Don't forget to use

as a reference.

Players will come across another ramp on the next floor, but this time, there are three blocks on the right that are bolted down and cannot be moved. Before attempting to solve the puzzle, players should grab the nearby platform and block, and combine them with Ultrahand. Using Ultrahand once more, players can fuse the objects to the edge of the ramp, creating a bridge to the platform on the left side. After crossing the bridge, players can open a chest and obtain a Large Zonaite.

Place the block behind the three blocks on the other side of the ramp and attach the platform to create a ramp, as shown in the image above. This will grant players access to the room where the altar is located, along with an additional Light of Blessing that can be obtained.
