Another exciting feature added to Genshin Impact's Genius Invokation TCG is a fresh gameplay mode that is only available for a limited time. Players now have the opportunity to accumulate extra Lucky Coins as rewards during this limited period, which can then be utilized to unlock additional cards or cosmetics in the game. If players have already participated in the previous patch and have experienced The Forge Realm's Temper, they will notice significant modifications in this version's gameplay style.

To unlock the Endless Swarm Challenge in Forge Realm's Temper, players do not need any additional prerequisites compared to other content in the Genius Invokation TCG. So, if players have already met the requirements to unlock this mini-game mode, they can simply go to the Cat's Tail Tavern and talk to Prince to gain access to the new challenges.

I - Ringed Frosting Stage

In this version of Forge Realm's Temper, players will encounter a total of four stages, each presenting unique challenge rules and bonuses based on specific conditions. Moreover, the challenges showcase a diverse collection of monster cards, each carrying different point values. By defeating these adversaries, players can accumulate points throughout five rounds (four rounds for the initial challenge). As soon as a monster is vanquished, a new one swiftly takes its place, offering an unending swarm for players to continuously conquer. Once the five rounds are completed, players will be rewarded with Lucky Coins according to their point bracket. Earning 1000 points will grant 1000 coins, while reaching 2000 and 3000 points will award 500 coins per milestone, resulting in a grand total of up to 2000 Lucky Coins per stage if players achieve 3000 points.

Unlike the other rounds, this challenge only consists of 4 rounds. However, the first stage is relatively easier due to the advantageous special rules that benefit teams focused on elemental damage. Nonetheless, players should be aware that the stages contain Hydro and Electro Abyss Mages, as well as Electro and Hydro Slimes. To overcome these enemies, it is advisable to incorporate characters from different elements such as Pyro, Cryo, or Dendro. Additionally, if players opt to concentrate on single targets, it is highly recommended to prioritize defeating the Abyss Mages, as they yield more than double the points compared to a slime, even though it may take longer to vanquish them due to their shielding abilities.

Furthermore, the effectiveness of Anemo characters lies in their ability to Swirl and disperse elements among adversaries, continuously causing damage through Elemental Reactions and producing Omni Element Dice. Consequently, opponents are compelled to regularly alternate between characters in order to repeatedly disperse the applied elements. Characters such as Jean, Maguu Kenki, or Kazuha are especially valuable in this stage.

II - Echoing Destruction Stage

In contrast to the previous stage, Echoing Destruction presents more formidable adversaries that yield higher points. Defeating each opponent once is all that's needed to earn the maximum required points. Initially, the first special rule may appear insignificant, yet as the opponents enter the battlefield individually, it can prove useful by applying various elements when the second character arrives. However, the second special rule offers even greater utility by enabling players to use one less die for their initial combat action.

With these considerations in mind, players can greatly benefit from team compositions that incorporate 2 or 3 different elements, enabling quick character swapping. Furthermore, since opponents arrive on the field individually, players can adopt a single-target approach. It is crucial to defeat the Abyss Lector as swiftly as possible, as he possesses healing abilities, and early triumph over him grants a significant advantage to the team. It is worth noting that all enemies wield considerable power, making the inclusion of a healing character highly effective. For example, a team composition featuring Yae Miko, Sangonomiya Kokomi, and Nahida can serve as an outstanding counter against these adversaries.

III - Fungal Frenzy Stage

This challenge revolves around battling Hilichurls and Fungi on a stage filled with numerous but weaker enemies. The special rules are specifically designed to benefit teams that excel in using Charged Attacks. Moreover, teams can gain an advantage by having Weapon and Artifact cards at their disposal. Characters equipped with these cards can utilize their skills without consuming a die once per turn. By strategically equipping characters with these cards before using their skills, players can effectively manage their dice usage and gain a strategic advantage.

IV - Rapid Hexes

In this stage, having decks that excel at dealing area-of-effect (AoE) damage can be advantageous, as the enemies appear in groups of three. For example, Keqing's Elemental Burst has the potential to simultaneously strike multiple enemies, especially when combined with an elemental reaction like Electro-Charged, which consistently inflicts damage over time. Additionally, characters like Klee or Yanfei, who receive additional bonuses when using Charged Attacks, can also be beneficial since Charged Attacks are effective against these enemies.

Players participating in the Rapid Hexes challenge can achieve strategic advantages by swiftly overcoming adversaries, ideally by utilizing a diverse array of characters. Each defeated opponent has the potential to amplify subsequent damage inflicted. Additionally, it is highly encouraged to employ equipment cards, as they can be equipped free of charge once per round. Consequently, players may consider equipping a sole equipment card at a time to optimize dice management and fortify the prowess of their characters.

In this scenario, there will only be two opponents on the field simultaneously, which hinders the progress of acquiring stacks through rapid kills. As a result, players do not necessarily need to prioritize AoE decks and can instead focus on executing quick single-target attacks that can eliminate enemies in one hit. Consequently, players will benefit more from characters that do not heavily rely on summons to inflict the majority of the damage by the end of the turn but instead rely on significant burst damage or have access to Elemental Reactions such as Vaporize. Considering this, Hu Tao may be an outstanding character to consider.

Genshin Impact can currently be played on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, and a Switch version is currently under development.
