Pinap Berries become accessible to Pokemon GO trainers once they reach level 18. The good news is that obtaining Pinap Berries is quite straightforward, as they are frequently rewarded through Field Research and certain Special Research tasks.

Field Research can be acquired by spinning Poke Stop and Gym discs, while players receive a new Field Research at 12:00 am/00:00 local time.

What Are Pinap Berries For?

Pinap Berries cannot be utilized from the Items icon on the main page, similar to the Razz and Nanab Berries. These berries can exclusively be employed when encountering a Pokemon. By feeding a Pinap Berry to a wild Pokemon, the amount of Candy obtained will be doubled upon successfully capturing it.

Should players be unsuccessful in catching the Pokemon after using the Pinap Berry, the effect of the berry will dissipate. In such cases, simply employ another Pinap Berry. Pokemon GO players can easily determine if the berry's effect is still active by observing the Pinap Berry icon adjacent to the Pokemon's name.

The Silver Pinap Berry is a variant of the Pinap Berry that offers enhanced benefits. Not only does it double the amount of Pokémon Candy obtained, but it also improves the catch rate of Pokémon, combining the effects of a Pinap Berry and a Razz Berry. However, these berries are scarce and can only be obtained through specific means. Trainers can earn Silver Pinap Berries by reaching certain milestones in their Trainer Level or by completing designated Special Research tasks.
