Players in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom face the challenge of the Eutoum Shrine, one of the Proving Grounds shrines where they must showcase their combat skills against a battalion of Soldier Constructs. The initial apprehension can be overcome with a well-thought-out strategy, making the Euroum Shrine a conquerable task. The shrine requires players to maneuver through guards and secure powerful weapons, which can be utilized to subdue the enemies effortlessly and claim the shrine's rewards.
Eutoum Shrine Location
Located in the Goflam's Secret Hotspring area of the Hebra Mountains, the Eutoum Shrine can be found just north of the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. Adventurers can reach the shrine by either launching themselves from the tower and gliding northward or fast traveling to the nearby Kahatanaum Shrine or Mayaumekis Shrine in the Rising Island Chain and then descending upon it. The shrine's coordinates are -3506, 3569, 0387.
Eutoum Shrine Walkthrough
While players can technically defeat all of the Soldier Constructs in the Eutoum Shrine using the starting weapons, it's much more efficient to search for more powerful gear. Throughout the shrine, there are several storerooms containing Zonai devices that can greatly aid in completing the challenge. One of the best storerooms is located by taking a right at the start of the shrine and using Link's Ascend Ability to reach the walkway above.
Players can easily navigate through the laser grid by running straight through it, but they can also use a nearby barrel and Link's Recall ability to get over it. Upon reaching a dead end, players should lift a wooden crate with Link's Ultrahand and use Recall to rewind its momentum. After jumping off the crate at its highest point, players can glide towards a single red laser beam and a white trapdoor located to their left.
Players can access the lower area by lifting the trapdoor, but it's best to avoid this while the alarms are active. If the Constructs are not alerted, players can use Ultrahand to dismantle the watchtower quickly. By grabbing it and jiggling the right analog stick, the tower will collapse into pieces.
Once the Soldier Constructs are defeated with the help of the nearby Beam Emitter, players can proceed to the statue room. A Sapphire and the highly coveted Light of Blessing can be found inside a chest waiting for them there. Don't miss out on the opportunity to play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, now available on Nintendo Switch.
