Bayern Munich eyes Chelsea's No 1 goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, as their prime target While the Blues' willingness to entertain offers remains uncertain, Bayern aims to secure a new goalkeeper after Yann Sommer's departure to Inter Milan Stay tuned for more updates on the summer transfer window with Sky Sports
According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich is targeting Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga to become their new No 1 goalkeeper. The reigning German champions are eager to secure a goalkeeper this summer as they have recently sold Yann Sommer to Inter Milan and Manuel Neuer is currently recuperating from a fractured leg.
Kepa comes highly recommended by head coach Thomas Tuchel, who previously worked with the talented Spanish player at Stamford Bridge. Yet, it is uncertain whether Chelsea would consider any proposals for Kepa, as he is expected to be Mauricio Pochettino's top choice for the upcoming season.
Chelsea sold Edouard Mendy to Al Ahli this summer, with Robert Sanchez signed from Brighton for £25m to compete with Kepa.
