With the holiday season in full effect, the “Queen of Christmas,” Mariah Carey, has given her fans a special gift.
Carey, 54, shared her excitement for celebrating the holidays with her "lambily" while on tour on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, December 8. In addition to the message, she also released a new video for her song, "All I Want for Christmas Is You," featuring footage from recent performances where her fans, known as "lambs," lip-sync along to the holiday classic. The video also provides a behind-the-scenes look at her current tour, including glimpses of her 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with Roc appearing behind a drum kit at the 23-second mark and Roe watching from the side of the stage.
The "Festive Lambs Edition" video showcases Carey's children and serves as a token of gratitude to her loyal fans. It also offers a glimpse into what attendees can expect from Carey's Merry Christmas One and All! Tour. The 13-date tour commenced on November 15 in Highland, California and will conclude with a performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 17, with stops in Boston, Philadelphia, and Baltimore along the way.
Carey kicked off the Christmas season on November 1 as usual. The "Fantasy" singer posted a video showing herself encased in ice while ghosts in Halloween attire tried to thaw her out with hair dryers. It was Carey's iconic high-pitched whistle tone that ultimately broke the ice and set her free. Upon her release, she proclaimed, "It's time!"

After Thanksgiving, "All I Want for Christmas Is You" rose to the top of the Billboard Holiday Charts. The song has a chance to reach the top of the Hot 100 again before the year is over. It reentered the chart at No. 17 in the week of November 25, moved up to No. 4 the following week, and reached No. 2 for the week of December 9 (just behind Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”).
Interestingly, "All I Want for Christmas Is You" is not Carey’s favorite holiday song. During a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Carey revealed that her “all-time” favorite is Nat King Cole’s version of “The Christmas Song.”
