The High Country Humane Society in Flagstaff, Arizona, is paying tribute to the late Garrison Brown for his love and care for animals.

A recent Instagram post from the High Country Humane Society on Saturday, March 23, announced that they have named their Cat Adoption Room after Garrison Brown. The post expressed gratitude for his dedication to cats and his adoption of many feline friends from the shelter. They stated that his memory will live on and continue to impact the lives of animals at High Country Humane for years to come.

We appreciate your love for animals and will always cherish the memory of your passion.

Robert Garrison Brown, also known as the Sister Wives star, was a dedicated supporter of High Country Humane. He even adopted three cats from the organization. In his honor, the Cat Adoption Center room was named after him.

"We were overwhelmed by the support we received when we raised over $25,000 in just two weeks. It's a wonderful tribute to his memory and shows what a remarkable person he was. He had a special love for senior cats and the heartfelt messages in the donations were truly inspiring. Some donors were not even familiar with him outside of the Sister Wives program," said a High Country Humane employee in a video posted on Saturday.

On Saturday, Garrison's mother, Janelle Brown, shared the High Country Humane Society's tribute on her Instagram Story.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Garrison was found dead in his Flagstaff apartment at the young age of 25. Law enforcement officials later revealed that Garrison had died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. (Garrison’s sister Maddie Brush has since mentioned that mental health played a role in his passing.)

In a joint statement on Instagram on March 5, Janelle, 54, and her ex-husband Kody Brown expressed their deep sorrow over the loss of their son Robert Garrison Brown. They described him as a bright presence in the lives of those who knew him, and his absence has created a profound void in their lives. They kindly requested for privacy during this difficult time and asked for support in honoring his memory.

Garrison is survived by his parents Janelle and Kody, who are 55 years old, along with his siblings. His parents, who were previously married on the show Sister Wives but separated in December 2022, also have sons Logan, 27, Hunter, 26, and Gabriel, 21, as well as daughters Maddie, 27, and Savanah, 18. Kody also has 12 other children with his other ex-wives Meri Brown, Christine Brown, and Robyn Brown. Kody split from Meri, 53, and Christine, 51, in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

The Brown family gathered together to say goodbye to Garrison during a funeral service held on March 9th.
