Lisa Vanderpump made an appearance in the audience at the Dancing With the Stars season 32 finale to show her support for Ariana Madix. She became emotional while discussing her fellow Vanderpump Rules personality.
Vanderpump, 63, praised Madix, 38, during the Tuesday, December 5, episode, saying "I never knew she was capable of anything so magnificent." She added, "I’ve watched every week and it’s brought tears to my eyes. Good luck Ariana." Madix and her DWTS partner Pasha Pashkov have consistently been at the top of the leaderboard since season 32 premiered in September. In October, Madix exclusively told We that she was “having the best time” on the show.
"I'd be thrilled to do rehearsals and performances every day for the rest of my life. It's incredibly rewarding and enjoyable," she expressed.
Madix's triumph on the reality TV competition follows a challenging year in her personal life. In March, she ended her nine-year relationship with ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval due to his extended affair with their costar Raquel Leviss.
“This experience helped me to understand that I am capable of overcoming difficult challenges,” Madix explained to Us about the cheating controversy that unfolded during season 10 of Pump Rules earlier this year. “The worst possible outcome actually occurred, and I was able to cope. See — you can manage whatever comes your way.”

Madix and Sandoval both returned for season 11 of Pump Rules, which finished filming in September. Despite being forced to reunite with her ex for the sake of the show, the two are still living together in their shared Los Angeles home. Madix is focusing on the future and has moved on with her boyfriend Daniel Wai, who has been in the audience for several DWTS shows.
"He will be at the finale and he's definitely someone who, on those show days, he really makes sure that I don't have anything to worry about," Madix told The Daily Dish of Wai on Monday, December 4.

In October, Madix expressed to Us magazine how thoughtful her new partner is. "He takes care of things left out and does little things you don't even notice," she revealed. "When I come home from work and everything's clean with food that he made in the fridge, it's just so nice."
