Leslie Fhima is expressing her commitment to Gerry Turner regarding their future.
Leslie, 64, shared with Gerry, 72, on an episode of The Golden Bachelor that the phrase "'Till death do us part'" is unfamiliar to her since she has never experienced it before. Throughout her life, she has been searching for this kind of commitment, but it remained unfamiliar to her even in her past two marriages. This concept is unexplored territory for her. [This conversation took place] during their overnight date on Thursday, November 16th.
Leslie became overwhelmed with emotion as she spoke further.
"On each birthday, I keep telling myself, 'Next year, I won't be by myself anymore.'... I have an entire year to find someone," she expressed. "But every year, it feels like Groundhog's Day. I end up spending my birthday alone. I desire companionship. You are everything I truly want."

She asked Gerry to “help [her] through” the next steps.
"I believe in my capability because I have absolutely no apprehensions about making a commitment," she expressed. "When I reflect, I realize that I have experienced the profound bond of a blissful marriage and truly understand the essence of promising to stay together till the end of life."
Subsequently, the couple warmly embraced. "I aspire to have that same level of devotion," she declared.
Gerry replied, “And we will.”

In her confession, Leslie revealed her thoughts on the conversation, recognizing that Theresa Nist is still a contender for Gerry's ultimate choice.
"I often have the urge to sabotage things that are going well because I worry about their longevity. However, this time, I'm determined not to give in to that fear," she expressed to the camera. "Today, I confronted my fears, and I've realized that I would prefer to navigate life with him by my side."
