A resourceful Lego Fortnite player has built a virtual Helm's Deep inside the game, serving as the setting for a famous battle scene in the movie The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Dexerto shared a clip of the creation on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing the refuge for the people of Rohan in The Lord of the Rings universe. The builder, Reddit user Crownedpepper, also constructed the Eye of Sauron within the game using mostly castle building parts from the desert area village upgrade.
Lego Fortnite is less than a month old. The survival sandbox game was introduced in Fortnite alongside Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival, a Rock Band successor, last month. These new additions helped Fortnite reach over 7.6 million concurrent players in December, with Lego Fortnite contributing more than 2 million at that time.
All three new experiences are permanent parts of Fortnite and will receive updates, as confirmed by developer Epic. There were some concerns that they might be limited-time modes, but this is not the case.

As a passionate fan of both Lego and Fortnite, I am thrilled to see the creative fusion of these two worlds. The recreation of Helm's Deep from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is a testament to the boundless imagination and skill of the Lego Fortnite player. The intricate details and imaginative gameplay truly bring the iconic fantasy world to life. It's amazing to witness how players can use Lego Fortnite as a platform to express their love for other beloved franchises.
The fact that Lego Fortnite has attracted over 2 million concurrent players in such a short time speaks volumes about its popularity and potential. The decision by Epic to make Lego Fortnite and the other new experiences permanent parts of the game is a wise move that will ensure continued engagement and growth. I can't wait to see what other creative and immersive experiences players will create within Lego Fortnite in the future.
