Lance Bass wants to make it clear that he is not Taylor Swift. The 44-year-old 'NSync member made an appearance at the Los Angeles Chargers home game on Monday, October 16, against the Dallas Cowboys at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, California. To the music of the group's 2000 No. 1 hit, "Bye Bye Bye," Bass was introduced midway through the game with his photo on the jumbotron, adding a comedic twist to the moment.

Standing in a VIP box, Bass waved to the enthusiastic crowd to avoid being mistaken for the 33-year-old superstar who had just completed six packed concerts at the stadium. Making the most of his moment in the spotlight, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant playfully held up a sign that he had written by hand, which read, "Not Taylor Swift." Sharing the video on his Instagram page, along with the caption "In case anyone was confused," the host of the "Frosted Tips with Lance Bass" podcast added hashtags such as #LookWhatYouMadeMeDo, #GoChargers, #NotTaylorSwift, and #MNF.

Following their surprise appearances on the season 49 premiere of Saturday Night Live, the singer referenced Swift in connection to the 12-time Grammy winner and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. In the SNL sketch focusing on the hype surrounding Kelce's relationship with Swift, he appeared towards the end, while she later introduced the show's musical guest, Ice Spice. On Sunday night, the couple was seen holding hands after enjoying a meal at the Waverly Inn restaurant in New York City.

The connection between Swift and Kelce started on September 24 when she sat next to his mother, Donna Kelce, at the Chiefs' home game in Kansas City against the Bears. The Chiefs emerged victorious with a 41-10 win. Just a week later, the pop star also attended the Chiefs' away game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Once again, the Chiefs claimed a victory with a score of 23-20. Swift was accompanied by close friends such as Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Sophie Turner.

As a good luck charm, the "Karma" singer continued to support the Super Bowl champions during their game against the Denver Broncos on October 12 at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs secured a win with a score of 19-8.

At the MTV VMAs on September 12, when 'NSync reunited, they also presented Swift with the Best Pop Video award for her song "Anti-Hero." Swift openly shared her admiration for 'NSync, revealing that she was a big fan of the group in her earlier years.

"I used to have your dolls," Swift told them. "I'm curious, what are you guys up to now? Is there something exciting happening? I'm eager to find out!"

Appearing alongside Swift, Bass stated that it was a tremendous boost for the boy band's reunion. "It's truly amazing," he expressed to Entertainment Tonight following the VMAs. "To still witness such immense excitement from fans at our age, it feels like a dream come true. I never anticipated this level of fervor from our fandom."

“I blame Taylor Swift,” he added. “I think she sicced the Swifties on us and I think the Swifties and the ‘NSyncers just kind of created this tsunami.”
