Lance Bass is tired of witnessing his former ‘NSync bandmate Justin Timberlake receiving backlash from fans in favor of Britney Spears. Acknowledging that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, he believes that the current state of the world is saturated with negativity and suggests that forgiveness should be exercised. Taking inspiration from Britney's ability to forgive, Bass urges others to do the same.

On Tuesday, October 24, at the age of 41, Spears released her debut memoir titled "The Woman in Me." The memoir delves into her years in the spotlight, complicated family dynamics, and even sheds light on her past relationship with Timberlake, who is now 42. (Spears and Timberlake were in a relationship from 1999 to 2002, which ultimately ended due to infidelity on both sides.)

During a specific phase in their relationship, Spears and Timberlake, who initially met on the set of The All-New Mickey Mouse Club in the early '90s, discovered that she was pregnant. As per her memoir, Timberlake supposedly suggested that she undergo an abortion.

"I agreed to not have the baby," she wrote in The Woman in Me. "If it had been solely up to me, I would never have made that choice. However, Justin was certain that he did not want to become a father."

After undergoing the D&C procedure together, Timberlake allegedly cheated on her "multiple times." Timberlake had previously insinuated that Spears had been unfaithful during their relationship. In her book, Spears did confess to kissing Wade Robson, who had previously collaborated with Timberlake, while they were at a nightclub in Spain.

Spears alleged that Timberlake ended their relationship by sending her a breakup text. Timberlake, however, has not responded publicly to any of Spears' claims in her book "The Woman in Me," but a source informed us that he is attempting to distance himself from the memoir.

"He isn't placing much emphasis on what she might bring up about their past relationship," the insider exclusively shared with Us earlier this month, in anticipation of the book's release. "Justin and Britney's relationship was a long time ago, and he has moved on to a completely different life now. His priorities are his family, career, and looking toward the future. He desires to set aside anything that transpired in the past."

Following this, Timberlake made the decision to disable comments on his Instagram profile.

Spears has emphasized that she did not intend to cause offense with the subject matter of her book.

In an Instagram post on October 20, she stated, "The purpose of my book was never to offend anyone in any way. That was who I was back then... it's all in the past now! It's a fresh start from here on out! I am determined to maintain this approach for the rest of my life! Despite the potential for offense, this book has provided me with closure and a path towards a brighter future."

Bass expressed his enthusiasm to read The Woman in Me, stating he intended to commence reading the book later on Saturday. He believes that everyone has the right to share their story, and he hopes that the fans can eventually forgive.
