Lana Condor is in her wellness era.

The 26-year-old actress has teamed up with KIND Snacks and sat down exclusively with We to discuss the partnership along with her New Year’s resolutions and essential skincare products. Condor and KIND Snacks have collaborated on a "soothing" and "holistic" pop-up shop to promote a nutritious, but delicious, diet. It will be open for just one day in Santa Monica, California, on Friday, January 12th.

Yet, to Condor, wellness goes beyond just healthy eating.

"Skincare and makeup are essential for self-care," revealed the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before actress, emphasizing, "When I'm feeling down, pampering myself with masks and highlighter never fails to pick me up."

For Condor, prioritizing "skin health" is crucial when selecting products. "After a trip to Tokyo, I may have gone overboard with skincare shopping," she confessed with a laugh. "I stumbled upon ÍPSA, a Japanese brand that feels incredibly light on my skin and instantly became obsessed. I enjoy switching it up based on my travels, as the environment plays a big role. I tend to lean towards the light, weightless skincare products from Korean and Japanese beauty brands."

She also adores Rhode, Hailey Bieber's skincare brand, claiming it has a similar consistency to Japanese beauty products. When not focused on glam, Condor prioritizes her relationship with food.

“I often find myself feeling extremely stressed,” she confided. She revealed that she has experimented with "extreme" diets and has gone through "ups and downs" in her quest for good health. "Writing down my thoughts and actually seeing my worries on paper can really assist me in improving my connection with food or my overall well-being."

KIND Snacks

Condor invited fans to prioritize their own well-being and visit her "Better You by Lana" pop-up shop in collaboration with KIND.

"I prefer to think of it as an immersive experience because that's exactly what KIND and I have aimed to achieve with the store," she shared with Us. "As soon as you step into our store, you're greeted with unique sensory experiences and various unconventional wellness trends, such as eating small meals and extreme cleanses that may not be as beneficial as they claim to be."

As guests further explore the shop, they will notice a shift towards a calm and relaxed environment that promotes overall nutrition and self-care when it comes to eating. Condor emphasized that one does not have to give up delicious food in order to follow diet trends. When it comes to New Year's resolutions, Condor emphasized the importance of being kind to oneself.

She expressed, "I don't understand how all of a sudden January 1 has become the day we're like, 'Oh my God, we have to be radically different people than we were 24 hours ago.' My advice is please be gentle with yourself. Being restrictive is not always the move [or] the healthiest way for you to live your life. Life is already so complicated. The least we can do is be a friend to ourselves."

This year, Condor is focusing on letting “go of shame and guilt.”

She expressed, "I no longer want to carry shame and guilt in my relationship with food, relationships, and emotional matters. It's a journey to let go of it, so I am being kind to myself."
