Becca and Austin from Married at First Sight are getting closer, but Becca is still hesitant to discuss difficult topics in a preview of the November 29 episode. The couple holds hands on the beach and have a heartfelt conversation, with Becca admitting that she typically addresses tough issues upfront. However, she's taking a different approach as her relationship with Austin develops.
"In previous relationships, I've found myself diving into deep, emotional conversations pretty early on," she shares. "Certain topics that are significant to me, I tend to bring up right from the start when I've dated others in the past."
Austin chuckles, expressing that his approach is quite different. "Everyone has their own way of doing things," he remarks.
Becca now feels more secure in their bond. "I know that there might be differences because I was raised Jewish but I’m personally agnostic. Those differences have caused me anxiety in past relationships, but with you, I don’t feel that,” she says.
The couple has different religions, but Austin isn't concerned. “I’m just plain old Christian,” he replies. “But my parents had different faiths, so seeing how they navigated those topics, I think that’s beneficial, especially considering we might have differences in those areas.”

Becca emphasizes, "We are aware of that. However, there are so many other elements in our relationship that were lacking in my previous relationships. I used to only focus on the similarities, cling to them, and use them as the basis - but that approach failed me. I believe that by establishing a foundation based on all the other aspects of our relationship and on our strengths, we will be able to overcome many challenges."
Austin and Becca are in agreement, with Austin stating, "I completely agree. I believe we are in the process of learning how to communicate with each other, and I think the best approach is to start with the smaller issues and then work our way to the bigger ones."
Becca reassures her husband that she is "not overly concerned" about how the unaddressed "issues" might affect their relationship. "I believe we are resilient and that we have a deep understanding of each other, and this experience will only strengthen that," she expresses.

Despite not delving into the severity just yet, her family mentioned that she tends to minimize her excruciating pain. Nevertheless, Austin took the news in stride and earned the approval of her friends and family by committing to research and reaching out to them for more information.
