Lala Kent Says Her Bond With Ambyr Childers Does Not Come From Randall Emmett

Lala Kent and Ambyr Childers are not acknowledging their friendship with their mutual ex, Randall Emmett.

In the latest episode of her podcast "Give Them Lala" on Monday, March 18, Kent, 33, addressed a fan question about her close relationship with Childers, 35.

Kent shared her love for Childers’ daughters, London, 12, and Rhylee, 9, whom she doesn’t see often due to their school schedules and busy lives. Despite this, the girls attended Ocean’s birthday party, bringing them together.

She mentioned that she communicates with Childers regularly, speaking to her at least every other day. Their bond goes beyond co-parenting, as they have developed a strong connection through shared experiences and understanding. Kent considers Childers as a family member because of their close relationship.

Despite being introduced by Emmett, Kent and Childers do not have a connection through him.

Kent emphasized, "A lot of people assume that our friendship is because of Emmett, but that's not the case at all. It's actually irrelevant, don't you think? So let's not put too much emphasis on that. Anyone could have introduced us, it wouldn't have made a difference. But Childers and I really enjoy talking about dating together."

Childers and Emmett got married in 2009 and later welcomed their daughters London and Rhylee. Unfortunately, their marriage came to an end in 2017 after almost a decade together. Shortly after, Emmett confirmed his relationship with Kent amidst rumors that they were involved before his divorce was finalized.

In 2021, Kent became a mother when she and Emmett had their daughter, Ocean, who is now 3 years old. The couple, who had gotten engaged a year earlier, faced rumors of a split later that year and eventually decided to go their separate ways.

After calling off her engagement to Emmett, Kent expressed that she felt more "compassion" for Childers.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in January 2022, Kent shared her thoughts, saying, "I believe she is an amazing woman and a wonderful mom. To be honest, I think she is the best thing that ever happened to him. The way he and I got together, looking back, was just so messy and built on lies. Seeing the kind of person she is, I truly believe she was good to him and he made a mistake."

Kent and Childers are in a great place, according to a source who exclusively shared with us earlier this month. They have celebrated holidays and birthdays together many times over the years, and their relationship is wonderful. Despite Lala's breakup with Randall, she remains very close with his and Ambyr's daughters, whom she adores. Lala and Ambyr share a lot in common and they regularly stay in touch.
