Kylie Kelce gave a motivating commencement speech at Cabrini University, her old school, as it gets ready to close down after 67 years.
At 32 years old, Kelce stood before 3,200 students in Radnor, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, May 19. She joked that the school "couldn't even get a top five Kelce" for the special occasion.
"My husband, Jason Kelce, is known for delivering powerful speeches," she shared, referring to his recent NFL retirement speech and his memorable 2018 Super Bowl remarks. "Just to clarify, he didn't help me write my words today, so you can lower your expectations if you were expecting something extraordinary."
Moving on, she added, "After graduation, everyone's immediate question is, 'What's next?' It's perfectly okay to answer with 'I don't know.' The reality is, no one has their life all figured out, and if someone claims otherwise, they're not being truthful."
Kylie graduated from Cabrini in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. The following year, she married Jason. They have three daughters together - Wyatt, who is 4 years old, Ellie, who is 3 years old, and Bennett, who is 15 months old. Raising a family has taught Kylie some important lessons.
Kylie reflects, "As you grow older, you also grow wiser. You gain more knowledge that helps you make better decisions. It's amazing how time flies. I'm now 32 years old, a mother of three. It's hard to believe how fast it all went by."

Kylie openly admitted that she often feels lost and unsure of what she's doing, saying, "Every day, we are just trying our best. We're trying not to mess up our kids - turns out, that's what our parents did too."
While studying at the school, she was a member of the field hockey team for the Cabrini Cavaliers. She competed in the NCAA Division III tournament and was named the Colonial States Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year.
Kylie emphasized the importance of celebrating each graduating student's individual qualities and personality traits. She stressed the value of using these unique attributes to make a mark in life after college.
She pointed out that it would be a dull world if everyone around you had the same thoughts, interests, and activities.

She emphasized the importance of staying true to oneself and being authentic in all endeavors. Kylie acknowledged that her current position in life is a result of the support from the people around her, but she expressed her determination to remain genuine. She encouraged others to find their passions and use their enthusiasm to make a positive impact, reminding them that they are wonderful just the way they are.
In closing, Kylie referred to Cabrini as her "home" and the students as her "extended family."
Kylie shared a heartfelt message reassuring the community that even as a new school replaces Cabrini, their home still exists within the hearts of those who have cherished the place for its beauty and memories, not just its physical campus.
Kylie's words of comfort come at a time when controversy surrounds Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker's commencement speech at Benedictine University. Butker, who is connected to Kylie through her brother-in-law Travis Kelce, faced criticism for his remarks about women only being excited for marriage and children, as well as his insensitive comparison of Pride Month to "deadly sins." The NFL distanced itself from Butker's comments, stating that his views do not reflect the league's values.
